A welcoming, casual, come as you are Baptist church. Our mission, as given in Isaiah 61, is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ based in God's word —bringing hope to the broken, freedom to the captive, and comfort to those who mourn—transforming lives by His grace so that He may be glorified.

What We Believe

• The Bible is God's inspired Word and is the sole authority for faith and practice

• God exists as a Trinity of three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully and completely God, and each has always been God. There is no other God.
◦ God the Father is the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of all that is. He is unbounded by any human concept of space, time or dimension.
◦ Jesus Christ is God's only begotten son, and is fully God in a fully human form. Salvation is by grace and faith in Him alone.
◦ The Holy Spirit, God within each believer, works in the lives of all believers, guiding and prompting them in accordance to God's will, calling them to repentance, and draws all to faith in Jesus Christ

• Baptism. A believer is to be baptized as evidence of salvation and obedience to Jesus Christ, not as a means of salvation. Salvation is thru Jesus Christ alone.

• The Lord's Supper is done as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice for all who would place faith in Him

• Marriage is designed by God to be a covenant loving relationship between one man and one woman, and is the strength of a loving, faithful family.

• Our Mission is to feed the hungry, help the needy, and to make disciples by preaching the Good News to all.

About Country Church...

At one time, we had an 'About' page/post here on Facebook. For some reason, it's no longer here. I'll add some info as posts, and pin them (again), starting with.

This church is a Baptist church by conviction and principle, not by affiliation with a denomination. This means that we believe the basic Bible teachings for which Baptists have historically stood. As Baptists, we believe the following: the Bible is our sole authority for all matters of faith and practice. The church should be autonomous or self-governing. The believer does not need a priest, other than Jesus Christ, to come boldly to God. Every Christian has equal access to God personally. God’s Word gives us two ordinances for the church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Each person is individually responsible for his decision to accept Christ. The separation of church and state is biblical. The believer is eternally secure and cannot lose salvation. There are two biblical offices in the church: pastors and deacons.

As a Baptist church, we hold to the Baptist Faith and Message, which specify that:

• The Scriptures: The Bible is divinely inspired, without error, and serves as the supreme and final authority for faith and conduct.

• God: There is one true, living God revealed as a Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

• Jesus Christ & Salvation: Jesus is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin. Salvation is offered freely to all who repent of their sins and trust in Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection.

• The Church & Ordinances: The local church is autonomous, led by Christ. There are two symbolic church ordinances: believer's baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper.

• Family & Society: Marriage is defined strictly as a union between one man and one woman. Christians are called to defend religious liberty, champion the sanctity of human life, and share the Gospel globally.
