I was raised in an atheist family. Initially, I felt unworthy of God's acceptance. Eventually, I understood that it's only through grace and faith in Jesus Christ that I could approach Him. I put my trust in Him at 23 years old.

When I received an invitation to join 𝘊𝘌𝘍, I was initially filled with doubt, particularly about my finances, given a significant apartment loan and the need to repay my company-funded master's tuition. However, God provided a solution: I was laid off, received enough to pay off my loan, and was exempted from repaying the tuition. Most importantly, I heeded God's guidance in my prayers, declaring, "... decide today whom you will serve ... As for my family and me, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15). I chose to follow the Lord and have dedicated the past 22 years to serving with 𝘊𝘌𝘍 Slovenia.

I primarily translate the materials used by my team in Good News Clubs and camps. Without these translations, reaching children in Slovenia would be unfeasible. I also assist in creating content for the 𝘊𝘌𝘍 Europe Literature Department. Please pray for my efforts to help more children hear and respond to the Gospel. Since my role is office-based and not hands-on, securing support is challenging.

Your donation allows Alenka to faithfully serve the Lord with 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘌𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘍𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 of Slovenia. Will you come alongside Alenka today?

There are a lot of voices competing for your attention—but not every voice is truth.

Jesus said, *“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me”* (John 10:27).

So here’s the question: **whose voice are you listening to?**

At CYIA, we’re watching students learn what it looks like to open God’s Word, serve others, and share the Gospel—not because they have it all together, but because they’re learning to follow Jesus.

And this is the truth we keep coming back to:
**you matter to God.**

Not because of what you’ve done, but because He created you, loves you, and made a way through Jesus.

Keep listening to His voice.
Keep following Him.

Monday Missionary Spotlight: David Livingstone

David Livingstone was a faithful Christian missionary whose life was devoted to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the heart of Africa. Through years of travel, hardship, and perseverance, he shared the hope of Christ, strengthened the work of missions, and helped open doors for future evangelism, church planting, and Christian witness across the continent. His mission work reminds us that God uses surrendered lives to bring light, truth, and eternal hope to the nations.

Livingstone’s example challenges us to follow Christ boldly, serve with compassion, and remain faithful wherever God sends us.

This verse reminds us that God is always working, even when we cannot see what He is doing. Some moments in life feel confusing, painful, or unfair, but the Lord can weave every detail into His greater purpose. That does not mean every situation is good, but it does mean God is powerful enough to bring good from it. For believers, nothing is wasted in His hands. We can trust that He is building something beautiful, even in seasons that feel broken.

The End of Year Celebration at Southcrest Baptist Church was amazing!
Children and leaders gathered from 8 different schools: Cooper East, Cooper South, Cooper West, Oak Ridge, Preston Smith, Upland Heights, Wheelock, & Wolffarth. All of these Good News Clubs are sponsored or co-sponsored by Southcrest.
Sharing what they learned this year, the children spoke Scripture, sang songs and told the Gospel to the watching parents and families.
Praise God!

🪵⛺️Camp Good News is almost here on July 6, and we are so excited to have kids from across the West Texas region. But we need your help to make sure every child can experience camp this summer.

We are in urgent need of scholarships for kids who can’t afford to attend. Even one gift makes a real difference.

We also need snacks—any kind is appreciated, but cookies (homemade or store‑bought) are especially helpful for our campers.

If you’d like to bless a child or donate snacks, please contact us at 806-318-3026 or email [email protected] and we’ll coordinate delivery. You can also visit our website to give to a child in need of funds to come to camp. https://www.ceftexaspanhandle.com/donate

Thank you for helping us share the love of Christ with kids in our community.
