What are you holding onto that's holding you back from God?

This Sunday we explored the story of the Rich Young Ruler from Luke 18:18-30. He had achieved everything at a young age—wealth, status, power—but when Jesus asked him to surrender it all, he walked away sad. Why? He didn't understand the value of the gift he was being offered.

Here's the truth: It's not sinful to have things. It's sinful when things have us. Jesus isn't against wealth—He's against anything that becomes our idol and keeps us from depending fully on Him. Like holding onto Monopoly money after the game ends, we cling to things that won't matter in eternity.

What if you could see God's grace, mercy, and goodness for what they truly are? You'd give up everything in a heartbeat because HE is worth it. Surrender isn't loss—it's gain beyond measure.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Camp Disciple 2026! This exciting four-day retreat, taking place from June 7th - 10th, will be held at the beautiful High Plains Retreat Center. Designed specifically for 1st to 4th graders who will have completed their grade level by June 2026, this camp is the perfect place for kids to grow in their faith, make lasting memories, and connect with others who share their love for Jesus. Through fun activities, engaging worship, and impactful Bible studies, campers will learn how to live out their faith boldly and share the love of God with the world.

From exciting outdoor adventures and games to meaningful worship experiences and group discussions, Centered around the powerful verse Isaiah 41:13,

The truth is hard but necessary: following Jesus costs everything. Not a prayer and a pocket buddy, but dying to self and carrying your cross publicly. Jesus never soft-sold discipleship, and neither should we. He's not looking for converts who show up when convenient. He's calling disciples willing to give it all.
