I’m starting a weekly morning Devo called “P.M. In The AM”… here’s the very 1st one:

Fear That Brings Favor

The “fear of the Lord” sounds intimidating, but it’s not about being scared of God, it’s about standing in awe of Him.
It means you respect His power, honor His Word, and trust His ways.

It’s not fear that pushes you away; it’s reverence that pulls you closer.

The fear of the Lord is learned two ways; either taught or caught.

Adam caught it after disobeying God in the garden.
Abraham was taught it through relationship and honor.

When we walk in the fear of the Lord, we make God-decisions, not selfish decisions.
We stop treating God’s Word like advice and start treating it like instruction.

When we walk in reverence, we walk into His reward.

The Bible promises in Psalm 112:1-3 Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights l greatly in His commandments. 2 His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.

Start your week with a posture of awe! Acknowledge God’s greatness, obey His Word, and watch how He positions you for the promises ahead.

You can’t do anything about getting old, but you must be intentional about maturing.

5 Ways To Know You’re Maturing

1. Maturity is when you stop blaming others, and start taking responsibility for your actions.

2. Maturity is when you let go of what God’s asking you to surrender instead of trying to control it.

3. Maturity is when you learn to encourage yourself in the Lord, instead of depending on others for motivation.

4. Maturity is when your relationship with God stays solid, no matter what life throws at you.

5. Maturity is when you can genuinely love people who’ve hurt or offended you.

8 Things That Help Me Keep My Peace

Life gets wild sometimes, so wild that the potential to give up my peace becomes great.

Here’s 8 things I do that help me keep my peace.

1. Focus on Jesus

It might sound simple, but reminding myself of Jesus’ sacrifice and His love gives me strength to face each day.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." - John 16:33

2. Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff

Getting cut off in traffic, a bad grade, or when someone squeezes the toothpaste from the middle of the tube isn't the end of the world. Focus on what truly matters, and the little things will seem less important.

3. Forgive Fast & Frequently

Holding grudges only hurts you. Letting go of anger and forgiving others frees your heart from negativity.
"A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense." - Proverbs 19:11

4. Find the Good

This takes practice, but there's always something good to find. When you spend time looking for good, you become less focused on what’s bad.
"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." - Philippians 4:8

5. Avoid Negative People

Spend as little time as possible with negative people. They can bring you down. When you're around them, try to steer the conversation to something positive. Instead, seek people who inspire you to grow in every area of your life.

6. Trust Holy Spirit’s Transformation Process

God wants us to live full, blessed, & holy lives. By following His principles and walking with the Holy Spirit, you'll experience true transformation.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." - Galatians 5:22-23

7. Serve God By Serving Others

Focus on helping others and fulfilling God's purpose. Doing things for others brings us fulfillment and happiness.
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." - Matthew 6:33

8. Worship

Worship invites God’s presence into your situation, and when God is involved, things change.
"About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose." - Acts 16:25-26

It is possible to have peace during imperfect times.

The Bible says:
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." - Proverbs 4:23

There’s A Reason Why You’re An Overwhelmed Church Leader.

Here are 10 things that cause leaders to live stressed out:

1. Thinking the church is their church and not God's. (Don’t forget He's in control, not you! See Matthew 16:18)

2. Not trusting the people they delegate tasks to and falling into the trap of "if I want it done right, I have to do it myself."

3. Knowing what God wants them to do, but then listening to "experts" who say it's impossible.

4. Trying to explain themselves to people who don't really want an explanation—they just want to argue.

5. Refusing to take a break and rest, thinking the devil never takes a day off, and forgetting that the devil isn't the example, but Jesus is.

6. Developing a "Messiah complex" and thinking the church needs them more than they need Christ.

7. Worrying more about results than about being obedient to God.

8. Focusing on how big the problem is instead of how big God is.

9. Not sharing their worries and mistakes with others because they’re afraid it will make them look weak, even though people actually respect them more when they ask for help.

10. Forgetting about God's presence in every moment of their life.

Ministry isn’t designed to stress you out, but instead designed to lead people to Jesus and that brings joy.

Don’t lose focus, remember your God given vision & mission.

You can do it!!! And you can do it great!

God has so much more for you than just goose bumps!
Declare these statements & read the corresponding scriptures:

* God has brought me into a wealthy place (Psalm 66:12)

* He daily loads me with benefits (Psalm 68:19)

* Wealth and riches are in my house (Psalms 112:3)

* Because I love the Lord, he causes me to inherit true riches, and he fills my treasuries (Proverbs 8:21)

* I have an inheritance to my children’s, children and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for me (Proverbs 13:22)

* I receive wealth from God and the health to enjoy. It is a good thing (ecclesiastics 5:19)

* Jesus became poor so that by his poverty I can be made rich and abundantly supplied (2 Corinthians 8:9)

* God gives me richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17)

* As for me and my household we shall serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15)

* My Children are an inheritance of the Lord (Psalm 127:3-5)

* I am a covenant child of God and everything that pertains to His covenant belongs to me (Galatians 3)

* God surrounds the Righteous with favor and a shield (Psalms 5:12)

* I Grow and Walk in Wisdom, Favor, and Stature with God and Man (Luke 2:52)

On this Memorial Day, we remember the courageous souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Their legacy reminds us to defend the values they fought for.
We honor and thank our fallen heroes and their loved ones. Let’s never forget their bravery and devotion. 🙏🏽
