The Fostering Hope ministry at First Baptist Amarillo focuses on helping children, families, and agencies in the Amarillo area who are involved in foster care and/or adoption. Throughout the year, they work diligently to partner together to serve kids and families in need, including some incredible work fielding requests through our Care Closet.

Registration is open for the fall gathering of MOMs! Moms On Mission (MOMs) is a preschool ministry that specifically serves mothers with young children. This group of women meets on 1st & 3rd Wednesdays from 9:15-11:30 and is committed to raising children in a community of faith, love, and support. MOMs starts back September 2nd, and childcare is provided. We hope you can join us!

We wrapped up an amazing week with a day full of recreation, worship, crafts, and celebration. Today in Bible Story, kids learned that Jesus is God’s Plan for Forgiveness and that through faith in Him, we can receive forgiveness of sins and have a relationship with God. It was a great week all together at VBS!

Today was a meaningful day at VBS as kids heard the story of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. We learned that Jesus is the Proven Son of God because He defeated sin and death, and we talked about the good news that through Him we can have forgiveness and eternal life.

Day 2 was full of crafts, worship, recreation, and learning as we continued our week at VBS. As kids learned in the Bible Story about Jesus’ baptism, they discovered that Jesus is God’s Perfect Son who obeyed God completely and came to be the Savior of the world.
