Perhaps this is convenient that it's the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CHARITY to tell y'all about our September First Fruits!

We are taking donations for the Randall County Jail, who is building a new non-denominational chapel for folks of all faiths. They will hold services, but the space will also be used for trainings, recovery meetings and ministries who work with inmates.

This will benefit the inmates, the community and our PREP particpants. All funds are being raised privately, ensuring the county incurs no construction or equipment costs. Please consider giving to this project during the month of September.

We've been talking with the children about worship; what it means and how we set our hearts on the Lord. We've talked about how it looks different for everyone and some days it's for dancing and some days it's for quietly sitting.

Our hope is to raise them in knowing what worship can look like (it's not JUST singing!) and how they can easily incorporate that into their daily lives.

Something they shared with us recently is that they LOVE to sing in the car with you! We love that they don't just know "kid worship songs," but that they respond to the same types of music grown-ups like. So keep playing your favorite worship music in the car, because your kids like it too!

Y'all know Joy Conner's face because she often greets you at the door on Sunday mornings. Y'all may also know that she and her husband founded Acts Community . But did you know that earlier this year Joy spoke at the 2026 Texas Public Safety Conference in Dallas? With over 600 attendees, it was the largest event she's been a part of! Her passion to educate about human trafficking has taken her to the next level. Way to go Joy!

Wednesday Nights are BACK TONIGHT!
NEW TIMES: 6:30 -7:30 PM

Tonight, we have healing & prophetic rooms open, as well as worship and prayer in the sanctuary (no Bible study).
Nursery, children & Youth will meet, 6:30-7:30 PM. NO DINNER, but we'll have snacks!

Here's what you need to know:
• TIME CHANGE for ALL SERVICES: 6:30-7:30 (not 8) PM
• SNACKS for the kids, not dinner, will be served
• HEALING/PROPHETIC ROOMS OPEN
• WORSHIP/PRAYER in the sanctuary OPEN
• NO Bible study (this resumes for 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Wednesdays of the month)

BAPTISM CLOTHES DONATIONS NEEDED!

Do you have gently used T-shirts or athletic shorts you can part with?
We are building a clothes stash for our monthly baptisms (every 3rd Sunday) to help those who want to get baptized on the spot!

What we need: Gently used T-shirts & sport-type shorts.
Sizes needed most: L, XL, and XXL

As Pastor Tanner shared during his sermon on Sunday, there was a pattern to so many of the Biblical baptism stories. People heard the good news of Jesus, they believed it, and then they acted right there on that belief by being baptized in water.

Being baptized is that inward heart change manifesting in outward action.

What do y'all think? Should we keep the baptismal open and ready every third Sunday just in case someone has this heart change? Congrats to James who felt that way last Sunday!

Sunday the 30th is GRADUATION DAY for the new Kindergarteners! They will check in to their regular nursery class, then their new classmates will come get them to go through the graduation tunnel!

We're kicking off the new school year with new curriculum as well. We can't wait to share it all with them!
