Especialmente si no la has vivido.

1. ¿Cuántas congregaciones has levantado?
2. ¿Cuántos ministros has ordenado o levantado como hijos espirituales?
3. ¿Cuántos te has ganado para Cristo últimamente?

Pressing On to Maturity: A Prophetic Word for Hebrew Year 5785
As we step into the Hebrew year 5785, there's a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit inviting us to go deeper into our journey of faith, to leave behind the elementary principles, and to press on toward spiritual maturity. The Lord is calling us not to remain stagnant or satisfied with the basics, but to actively pursue a deeper, richer walk with Him. In this season, the themes of grace, redemption, and the King-Priest anointing are resonating strongly, and I sense a powerful shift is upon us.

Leaving the Elementary Teachings

The foundation of this prophetic message comes from Hebrews 6:1: "Therefore, leaving the elementary teachings about Christ, let us press on to maturity." The writer of Hebrews challenges us to move beyond the fundamentals of our faith – repentance, baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection from the dead, and eternal judgment – and to build upon them. These are essential, but they are just the starting point.

In many ways, we have become comfortable with the basics, often seeking out “deep” spiritual experiences without having fully established the core teachings in our own lives. We yearn for prophetic insights, miraculous encounters, and profound revelations, but we lack a solid foundation. This is where the problem lies – we try to launch into the deep waters without first securing the basics, and as a result, we end up drifting or even drowning in our pursuit of spiritual experiences.

This year, the Lord is inviting us to pause and reinvestigate these foundational truths. It’s not about re-learning them because we’ve forgotten but about ensuring that they are deeply rooted in our hearts. Just as a house is built upon a strong foundation, our spiritual lives must be grounded in the elementary principles before we can press into the greater things of God.

The Significance of the Hebrew Year 5785

The Hebrew year 5785 is marked by the Hebrew letter 'hei,' which represents the number five. This letter is deeply connected to the concepts of grace, breath, and revelation. It is also a symbol of God's creative power, as seen in the way He breathed life into Adam (Genesis 2:7) and changed Abram's and Sarai's names to Abraham and Sarah, infusing them with new destiny (Genesis 17:5, 15). The letter 'hei' signifies the breath of God, a divine impartation that empowers and guides us into our purpose(
Made of Still ®).

In the context of 5785, 'hei' represents the release of God’s breath over our lives, enabling us to walk in greater measures of grace and revelation. It's a year of stepping into the fullness of our calling, but it requires us to be intentional about our spiritual growth. This means taking the time to assess the state of our spiritual foundation and to ensure that we are firmly rooted in the basics before moving forward.

Rediscovering the Fundamentals

The elementary teachings – repentance from dead works, faith towards God, baptisms, the laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment – are often neglected in today’s church. Many believers are unaware of these foundational truths or have never fully grasped their significance. And yet, these teachings form the bedrock of our faith. Without them, we risk building our spiritual lives on shifting sand.

Repentance from dead works is the first step toward spiritual maturity. It’s about turning away from actions and attitudes that do not align with God’s will and embracing a life of obedience. It’s a call to examine our hearts and to let go of anything that hinders our relationship with God.

Faith towards God is another fundamental truth that needs to be revisited. In a world where we often rely on our abilities and resources, we must return to a place of complete dependence on God. Faith is not just about believing in God’s existence; it’s about trusting Him in every area of our lives, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill His promises.

The doctrine of baptisms includes both water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit. Water baptism symbolizes our identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, while the baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers us to live out our faith with boldness and authority. These are not optional experiences; they are essential elements of our spiritual journey.

Pressing Into the King-Priest Anointing

The year 5785 is also a time of embracing the King-Priest anointing. This anointing, mentioned in the book of Revelation (Revelation 1:6), speaks of the dual role of believers as both kings and priests. As kings, we are called to exercise authority, make decrees, and bring God’s kingdom to earth. As priests, we are called to minister to God, intercede on behalf of others, and bring His presence into every situation (Charisma Podcast Network).

David is a prime example of this King-Priest anointing. He operated in both realms, leading as a king while worshipping and ministering as a priest. The Lord is inviting us to step into this dual role, but it requires us to be grounded in the basics. We cannot function effectively as kings and priests if we have not first established a solid foundation of faith and obedience.

This year, God is calling His people to rise in their King-Priest authority, to operate in a greater level of influence and impact. But we must be willing to press on to maturity, to leave behind the elementary teachings, and to fully embrace our identity in Christ.

Seizing Kairos Moments in 5785

5785 is also a Kairos year, a divinely appointed time when opportunities for growth, transformation, and breakthrough are made available. Kairos moments are not just ordinary moments; they are windows of opportunity that require us to be alert, attentive, and ready to act. The Holy Spirit is leading us into new territories, but it’s up to us to respond and to step through these open doors (Made of Still ®).

As we press into maturity, we need to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. It’s His breath that will guide us, His grace that will sustain us, and His wisdom that will enable us to navigate this season. The Lord is urging us to seize these Kairos moments, to not miss the opportunities that He is placing before us.

The Breath of God: Revelation and Transformation

The letter 'hei' is also connected to the breath of God, symbolizing the divine impartation of revelation and transformation. As we enter this new year, there will be an intensification of God’s breath, bringing fresh insights, clarity, and understanding. But revelation is not an end in itself; it’s meant to bring about transformation in our lives (Beyond the Dalet).

We must be willing to yield to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to shape us, mold us, and lead us into greater levels of maturity. It’s through His breath that we will experience the fullness of God’s plans and purposes, but this requires a heart that is open, teachable, and responsive.

Conclusion: Pressing On to Maturity in 5785

As we embark on this journey into the Hebrew year 5785, the Lord is calling us to press on to maturity, to move beyond the elementary teachings, and to embrace the fullness of His grace, redemption, and anointing. It’s a year of opportunity, a year of transformation, and a year of stepping into our God-given destiny.

Let us be wise disciples, ensuring that our foundation is secure, and that we are walking in the light of His truth. Let us embrace the King-Priest anointing, seize the Kairos moments, and allow the breath of God to guide us into new levels of revelation and maturity. This is a pivotal season, and the invitation is clear: press on, press in, and allow God to take you deeper than you’ve ever gone before.

May we all journey together into the fullness of what God has for us in this new year. Amen.

Blessings to Each of You!
