This past Sunday in PFC Kids, we continued our journey through the book of Judges and learned an important lesson: when we choose our own way instead of God's way, problems often get bigger.

We discovered that when God isn’t in control of our thoughts and decisions, bad ideas may seem like good ones. The good news is that God wants to lead us, help us make wise choices, and show us the right path to follow!

It’s always a doozy when we don’t let God rule our hearts and Sunday, in PFC Kids, we found out just how bad it can get when we rule our hearts.

We learned that what’s in our hearts truly shapes the way we live—good or bad. God, however, is always good…always constant…always stable. People? Well without Him, we are anything but good, constant or stable. So what does that mean? Simply put: When God doesn’t rule our hearts, our emotions do.
