Trusting in the Potter

Isaiah 64:8 KJV
[8] But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

There is a process that we all experience as we daily walk with God. There are moments when we face unique situations built for every individual that may challenge our faith and trust in Him. Hardships that brings doubt and fear, but also blessings that encourage and strengthen. Tests of patience and compassion. All of these are moments we face in the process, and all are the Potter’s Hand forming and molding us to be what He has called us to be. So, when you are facing a situation, a struggle, a complication, whatever it may be, don’t lose faith in the Potter. Trust in Him. Trust in the Hands that will not fail you, nor leave you or abandon you. He knows your needs. Trust in the Potter.

Affecting Your Atmosphere

Proverbs 18:21 KJV
[21] Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

God in the beginning spoke the world and everything that we know into existence. When He made man in His own image, not only did He breathed into man the breath of life, but He gave us the power and the ability to speak. Just like God, we also can speak things into existence. Though we may not see the results and consequences right away, what we speak affects the world around us. Whether it be positive or negative, each has their own effect. What you speak into your atmosphere matters. Like God, no matter the situation and the people you face this week, choose to speak life. Choose to speak blessings upon your job, coworkers, friends, and family. Speak victory over the enemy. Speak deliverance over sin and temptation. As we go through this week, let us choose to speak life.
