Everything has been leading to this moment—the birth of the Church. Jesus’ resurrection proved His victory over sin and death. His ascension empowered His followers to carry on His mission. Now, through the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the message of Jesus transforms lives and builds His Church. The same power that moved through Peter’s first sermon still moves today, calling us to repentance, faith, and action.

The waiting is over. In the upper room, the disciples had been praying and preparing, but now God moves. The Holy Spirit, promised by Jesus, is poured out in power, equipping the disciples to proclaim the Gospel in a way they never could on their own. The miracle of Pentecost isn’t just about the signs and wonders—it’s about God launching His Church into its mission. The same Spirit that fell on Pentecost is the Spirit that empowers us today, calling us to take the Gospel to every nation, tribe, and tongue.

In this session, we’ll see a man come to Jesus in the middle of what might have been the worst hardship he had ever faced. Desperate for a miracle, this man showed us a shocking display of faith when he returned home, believing for his miracle without seeing it. Having only Jesus’ words of assurance, the man’s behavior showed that he trusted in Jesus’ word more than he trusted in his own experience.

We cannot fulfill God’s mission in our own strength—we need the Holy Spirit. His presence guides us, His power emboldens us, and His purpose transforms hearts. When we rely on Him, we can share the Gospel with confidence, knowing He is always at work.

In this session, we’ll read about one of the most impressive miracles Jesus performed—raising Lazarus from the dead! The emotions surrounding the death of a loved one can provoke fear, overwhelming sadness, and even hopelessness. Lazarus’s family dealt with his death in different ways. But they would ultimately learn that they could trust their friend Jesus, waiting patiently for His timing even when it didn’t make sense. We, too, can trust God’s timing for the answers we seek. In the meantime, we can allow Him to grow patience within us and remind us that He is always present, no matter what we face.

Join us this Sunday as we continue our journey to Pentecost.

By the Sea of Galilee, Jesus meets His disciples once again—not with condemnation, but with grace. He restores Peter after his greatest failure and calls him to a renewed purpose: 'Feed My sheep.' This story reminds us that no failure is final with God. When we fall short, Jesus meets us where we are, restores us in love, and calls us to follow Him with purpose.

Early excessive heat is the prediction of the weathermen for the Plains. We need to pray to the God who provides the soft rains that bring blessing as described in Psalm 65.
Psalm 65:9-10 NKJV
You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it. [10] You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth.

“Heavenly Father, we pray that you would bring abundant rains so that there will be a bountiful harvest for the farmers and ranchers in our area. Lord, we also pray for the well of spiritual refreshing promised in Your Word, a well that will provide everlasting spiritual provision for those who partake. In Your Name we pray, Amen!”
