In this session, we see an interaction between two women who loved Jesus dearly, but showed that love in different ways. Jesus had something to say to them about those different expressions, and we can learn from what He said was more important. Jesus cares how we prioritize our life. He wants to help us understand that how we order our time reflects how we first order our heart. Focusing on relationship with Him at the very center of our priorities will fill us with everything we need to live for Him and serve others.

In this session, we’ll look at a time when Jesus healed ten men who had leprosy, but only one returned to give thanks. God changed the entire life of this man when he obeyed the command of Jesus. His response was immediate worship filled with gratefulness. Jesus’ response was to ask where the others who were healed were who didn’t respond with gratitude. Their ungratefulness further highlights the action of the one who returned. Like this l***r who was healed, we should honor God by expressing gratitude for His goodness, too.

The biblical model of evangelism involves the dual action of gifted evangelists who are called to practice bold proclamation, and everyday believers who are to live such surprising lives they invite the questions of neighbors.
But this only works if everyday believers know how to answer those questions. The role of every believe is to know Jesus and proclaim Him as the Answer!

In this session, we see a bold display of true commitment to Jesus. Peter and John, disciples of Jesus, were confronted by religious leaders who didn’t like the message they were sharing with people. Though the disciples were arrested, questioned, and threatened, Peter and John didn’t back down from the message they felt compelled to share. Their example inspires us today to live for Jesus and continue to spread His message of salvation, even when we face opposition.
