Two Senior Adult events are coming soon: December 13 (Monday), 10:30 a.m., Choir Room. Fellowship through Reading meeting will feature Dan and Parker as they share the background of some of our favorite Christmas songs.

December 16 (Thursday), 6:00 p.m. View Christmas lights and enjoy Christmas treats. We will board our vans and tour Amarillo’s Christmas lights before returning to the FLC for snacks. Please RSVP by Tuesday, December 14, to the church office if you plan to join us.

Hi Friends, Remember Heritage Fellowship (for FBC Senior Adults) meets this Friday, January 15, 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel. Steve Kersh will speak about the weather in the Bible followed by a box lunch “pick up and go” in Fellowship Hall. Cost is $5 if you want a lunch. Please RSVP to the church office if you plan to attend. I look forward to seeing you there!!

Hi Friends, Thanksgiving is in our rear-view mirror now, and we are looking forward to Christmas! We will host a Christmas drive-by for our Senior Adults on Tuesday, December 15, 5:00-6:30 p.m. Please RSVP to the church by Monday, December 14, if you plan to come by. More details are included in the December First Page. What an appropriate way to celebrate Christmas 2020!

Remember Heritage Fellowship is this Friday, October 16, 12:00 noon, in the FLC Picnic area. We will enjoy a Tri-State Fair inspired lunch with special entertainment by FBC’s own music group, Basement Band. The performers include Jodi and Dan Baker, Cheryl Fairly, Robby Barrett, Parker Bowen, and Brent Clark. Please RSVP by Wednesday, October 16, if you plan to attend.

We have busy days ahead—doesn’t that sound like a return to normal??? Heritage Fellowship is this Friday, September 18, 10:00 a.m., in the FLC Picnic Area. We will enjoy a Fiesta theme; come ready to fellowship!

Next Tuesday, September 22, 10:00 a.m., come join us for our Outdoor Old-Fashioned Hymn Sing, in the FLC Picnic Area. Parker will lead us in singing, followed by refreshments: RC Cola and Moon Pies.

Due to the weather change coming Tuesday, we decided to postpone our Outdoor Old-Fashioned Hymn Sing until Tuesday, September 22, 10:00 a.m., FLC picnic area. Thanks for understanding; we look forward to seeing you on September 22.

Remember our next Senior Adult event is an Old Fashioned Outdoor Hymn Sing with Parker. It will be held Tuesday, September 8, 10:00, in the FLC Picnic area. Come join us as we get to know Parker and enjoy singing some of the hymns we love. If you would like to request a song, let Gay or Parker know by Tuesday, August 25. Thanks!

Senior Adults, Come join us for Pizza...Popsicles...Picnic—Tuesday, August 11, 11:30-1:00, at the FLC picnic area. We will provide the food; come enjoy the fellowship. Please RSVP by Friday, August 7, if you plan to attend. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs; this is an outdoor event. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Remember our Senior Adult Cookout this Wednesday, July 22, 11:30-1:00, in the FLC picnic area. We will have hamburgers and all the fixings. You can come and stay or take your burger with you. Looking forward to seeing you!

Remember our June Jubilee with a Park Central Parade this Thursday, June 18, at 3:00 p.m. We will drive by to wave at our friends at Continental, Park Place Towers, Plemons and Talmadge. When we return to the west parking lot, we will enjoy cookies, lemonade, and a game or two—all without leaving your cars. Hope to see you then!!
