Most professing Christians have not submitted to the Lord
Notice why in the following verses.
Rom. 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Are you obedient to THE FAITH (Paul’s writings) is very important to showing others God’s grace is working in you and you are not blaspheming God and His word.
Rom. 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Rom. 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom. 16:19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
Rom. 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience from faith:
1 Cor. 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but to be under obedience, precisely to the same degree as also saith the law.
2 Cor. 7:15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
2 Cor. 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of/from Christ;
2 Cor. 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Phm. 1:21 Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
To be in disobedience is in opposition to being obedient to the Lord. Having your own way is displaying disobedience to Love, to the word of God, to God Himself, to His authority and Headship.
Here is an excellent example:
“How you have fallen from heaven,
O [g]star of the morning, son of the dawn!
You have been cut down to the earth,
You who have weakened the nations!
13 “But you said in your heart,
‘I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne above the stars of God,
And I will sit on the mount of assembly
In the recesses of the north.
14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’
15 “Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol,
To the recesses of the pit.
These who chose their own will over God's word, will and wisdom are literally doing exactly the same as satan (the devil).
There is a serious spiritual problem if God's word is not working repentance in those found in this position.
2 Timothy 2:25, 26 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

A Tidbit from Del Hatley, Sr
Please study Titus 3:1-11 and then answer this question what is wrong with this phrase? "I don't want to"
And then go to a mirror and as you look at yourself say Lord I am NOT that way, that is NOT me. If your not convicted by this something is definitely wrong.

WARNING TO ALL BELIEVERS in a tidbit
"... avoid unprofitable and vain things… Hence, prioritize the good and profitable.
Are you prioritizing self over the Savior's will, over your job, over partnership or marriage?
If you are the end result will be vain, but prioritizing God's will over ALL THINGS is profitable.
Titus 3:9-11

WARNING TO ALL BELIEVERS
More important than your rights, is the grace of God shed on you.
Titus 3:6, 7

I want to share with all believers the importance of following Paul in this age since he had been given and commissioned with the gospel of the grace of God.
BE YE FOLLOWERS OF PAUL AND WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON’T ACCORTDING TO SCRIPTURE
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 11:1
1. Reasons to Be Followers Of Paul
a. Over half of NT written by (13/27 books) or about (17/28 ch. in Acts & a mention in 2 Pet 3) Paul
b. The scripture says it – 2 Thes 3:4; 1Thes 4:1; Phil 4:9 & 3:17; 1 Cor 11:1 & 4:16
c. God commanded it – 1Tim 1:1; Titus 1:1-3; Gal 1:1
d. The gospel was committed to his trust – Gal 2:2&7; 1 Tim 1:11; 1 Cor 9:17
i. Paul’s “MY gospel references – Rom 2:16 & 16:25; 2 Tim 2:8; 2 Cor 4:3; 1 Thes 1:5; 2 Thes, 2:14, Gal 1:8-12
e. Jesus Christ sent Paul – 1 Tim 1:12; Acts 9:15 & 26:16-18
f. Paul was the last person to see the Lord Jesus Christ – 1Cor 5:8 (Acts 26:16; 2 Cor 12:1&7)
g. Peter defers to Paul – Gal 2:9; 2 Pet 3:15-16
h. You are not a Jew – John 4:22; Acts 15:11; Rom 11:13 & 15:16; Col 1:27
i. Paul’s message completes the word of God – Col 1:25-26, Eph 3:9-10
j. For understanding in all things – 2 Tim 2:7 (Col 1:9; Eph 1:16-18)
k. Your salvation demands it – 1Tim 1:16
i. If you’re saved by believing in the death, burial and resurrection, you’re following Paul even if you don’t know it, don’t admit it, or don’t want to
2. Consequences of Not Making Paul Your Pattern
a. The gospel of Christ’s finished work for salvation is distorted or hidden – 2 Cor 4:3; Gal 1:8
b. Jesus Christ is diminished/belittled – Paul speaks more of Christ than anyone in the scripture:
i. Christ/Jesus Christ/Christ Jesus (Paul uses these 72% of NT), and Lord Jesus Christ (76/82x’s)
ii. Departing from Paul takes you away from magnifying Christ – Phil 1:20 & 3:7-9
c. Your presently possessed & complete position in Christ disappears – Col 2:10, Eph 1:3, Rom 5:11
i. Your patience, endurance, faithfulness, & good works determine your standing with God
d. Key tenants of Christianity deemphasized. Paul speaks about Him more than rest of NT combined:
i. Grace, Glory, Hope, Joy, Charity, Faith, Gospel, Thankfulness/thanksgiving, Righteousness, Redemption, Reconciliation, Knowledge, Understanding, Wisdom, Church, Fellowship, Atonement*, Dispensation*, Communion*, Body of Christ* (*only found in Paul)
e. Ignorance of the will of God – (phrase alone = 17/25 times) – Eph 5:17 (See “Paul: Our Pattern, Pt. 1”)
Rapping it up for this lesson:
f. Ignorance of how to properly serve God – Rom 14:18-19 (See “Paul: Our Pattern, Pt. 2”)
i. The body of Christ is weakened & not built up – Eph 4:14-18
ii. Which results in wood, hay, stubble, and loss at the judgment seat – 1Cor 3:10,13,15

Three confessions of faith under the kingdom gospel.
Peter’s Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the livingGod. Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Martha’s John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
The Ethiopian Eunuch’s Acts 8:34 And the eu**ch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? Acts 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eu**ch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Did you notice what they had to believe and do?
Peter's message Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent (of what? Killing Jesus), and be baptized (water) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The difference between Paul's gospel and the twelve's gospel rests on their focus and audience. Paul's gospel was directed to the Gentiles, draws his undivided focus and attention to the grace of God; his basis alone for salvation today and the promise of a heavenly hope, existence and inheritance. Distinctly different, the twelve apostles' gospel was for the most part for the Jews only which Jesus focused on and made clear in Matthew 10:5; 15:24; Luke 4:42; John 20:21, and their focus was on the kingdom of God and how to get into it through repentance and water baptism. This distinction is critical for understanding Biblical truth, God’s dispensations and God's projected plan of salvation.
Paul’s gospel is totally different for salvation it is apart from law.1 Corinthians15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Romans 3:21-24 But now the righteousness of God has been revealed apart from the law, attested by the Law and the Prophets,
22 that is, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all and upon all who believe; for there is no distinction. Rom 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being freely justified by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
Ephesians 2:8, 9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast/brag.
Using quickness to keep the oneness from the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Notice one baptism not two!
So which one is it that Paul uses for placement or identification into the Church, the Body of Christ?
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Paul uses the one baptism, one body, one Spirit from Ephesians 4.
Emphasizing this Paul says in Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Most don’t see and understand this, that adding water for identification is an operation of the flesh for trying to get others to become perfect.
Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
Colossians 1:27, 28 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; in order that we might present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
The problem is that people are being mesmerized, captivated and blinded into believing they need to have a part in their salvation. So, So sad.
What part do you really have in your salvation?
Ephesians 2:1-3 And you, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Romans 3:9-12 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Ouch! These passages take your efforts out from God’s salvation plan.
Why? You might ask Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Make anyone a candidate for His free offer of salvation.
One’s efforts nullifies, makes void or makes the power of the cross to save powerless.
My plea as an ambassador of Christ, for those who believe otherwise is 2 Corinthians 5:20, 21 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech (plea, beg or demand) you through us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled (a Divine injunction) to God. Why? Because,
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
The only WAY to be reconciled 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Jesus Christ has done everything for you and it is yours IF you receive His work on the cross through faith alone.

What the true believer who has been saved by God’s grace alone is waiting for, looking for and expecting to receive from the Lord for the work done from the point of salvation until death.
(Salvation’s work has been completed by Christ on a believer’s behalf for salvation)
1. HOPE ~ Rom 8:24; Col 1:27 “ For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.” Col 1:27 “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
2. HOPE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS ~ Gal 5:5 “For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness out of the source of faith.”
3. CHRIST’S APPEARING BEFORE THE DAY OF WRATH~ 1 Thes 1:10; Rom 5:9 “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. ”; “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. ”
4. THE CHANGE OF OUR EARTHLY FORM ~ 1 Cor 15:51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,”
5. THE REWARD FROM THE INHERITANCE ~ Col 3:24 “Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
6. EVERLASTING LIFE WITH CHRIST ~ Rom 6:8 “Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:”
7. GLORY ~ Rom 8:18 “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
8. THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST ~ Rom 14:10 “But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”
9. THE REWARDS/LOSS FROM OUR WORK UNDER GRACE AFTER SALVATION~ 1 Cor 3:13-15 “Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
10. PRAISE FROM GOD ~ 1 Cor 4:5 “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. ”
11. OUR JUDGMENT SEAT ~
a. Judging the world ~ 1Cor 6:2 “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?”
b. Judging angels ~ 1Cor 6:3 “Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?”
12. OUR RESURRECTION ~2 Cor 4:14 “Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.” 1 Thes 4:16, 17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
13. THE CROWN FROM RIGHTEOUSNESS ~ 2 Tim 4:8 “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
