Mount Moriah isn’t a story — it’s a pattern. Yesterday reminded us that God sometimes asks us to lay down the very things He gave us, not to take them away, but to reveal what’s in our hearts.
This week, let’s choose obedience. Lay it down. Trust Him. Watch Him provide.

Make some noise for Patrick Avery, our Team Member of the Week!
This young man is out here running cameras, helping direct our livestream, and bringing serious energy every Sunday. He’s in our AOL Youth group with big talent and an even bigger heart — showing up, serving strong, and leveling up week after week.
Patrick, keep shining. Keep growing. God’s doing something special in you.

Sometimes God will ask us to surrender what we've been praying for.
But why?

And what happens when faith costs us something?

Sunday was powerful! Memorial Day reminded us of the cost of freedom. And Pastor Travis reminded us that when a nation forgets God, it loses the very foundation that holds it together. As we step into this week, we choose to stay anchored — remembering His Word, honoring sacrifice, and keeping Christ at the center of our lives and our nation.

Today we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice reflects a love that chooses others above self — a love we remember with deep gratitude.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13
As we reflect on their courage, we also look to Christ, whose ultimate sacrifice gives us hope, strength, and purpose. May we live in a way that honors both their legacy and His love. We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
