Please pray for our friends at Ebenezer Fellowship in McConnellsville, Ohio. Early this morning they had a church fire. It is a complete loss of both their church and school. Hopefully we can help them.

It's been awhile since we posted an update. So we will try to bring you up to speed.

After a 6 month sabbatical, Ryan Good is back in October serving as an associate Pastor and enjoying semi retirement. That means helping with the load of preaching but trying to stay out of the administrative part of pastoring.

Also, in October we ordained another associate Pastor to serve as Deacon. Caleb Miller was chosen. Caleb and his wife Dorcas, live in Somerset, Ohio and have 3 boys. Caleb is the owner of MQS Structures in Lancaster, Ohio. They specialize is post frame buildings.

As a deacon, Caleb will have a limited role in preaching (only 5th Sundays), but will be responsible for the church finances along with a deacon committee of two men, who will assist him. We are currently in the process of choosing the committee.

This brings us to a total of five pastors. This was our goal, to have younger men in the ministry before some of us older ones start hanging up our hats and look towards the sunshine of Florida in retirement.

And with every season there is change..

We are beginning a new season at Emmanuel Church. After nearly 25 years of pastoring and serving as Senior pastor for the last 10 years, Ryan Good is retiring.

Effective March 24th, Phil Stoltzfus will be the new Lead Pastor.

Ryan will be taking a 6 month sabbatical over this summer and will return as an associate pastor in October.

I would like to thank the church and the church family for their unwavering support in the past 25 years. It will be a real adjustment for me to not always be thinking ahead and planning, and leading out in meetings etc. But I am also excited to see what God has in store for us, as a family in the future. -Ryan Good

Noah and Lucinda Kramer have officially joined us at Emmanuel. They have three little boys and live in Londonderry, Ohio. Noah owns his own business building post frame buildings. They just recently finished construction on a new home.
