The truth is that it has nothing to do with the title. You don't have to be a Pastor, a Prophet, an Apostle, an Evangelist, a Sunday School Teacher, etc. it has to do with our level of faith. When we see God doing something big in someone's lives, it is generally because they were willing to step into a level of faith that was out of their comfort zone. They we willing to trust to move into something that was bigger than themselves. To trust in something that they knew they could never do on their own and had to trust in God to fulfill it.
Most of us have a level of faith that believes "God works out all things for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). We may even have the faith to believe that blind eyes and deaf ears can be opened, but do we have the mountain moving kind of faith, the raise the dead kind of faith?
Most say "I'll believe it when I see it", the God kind of faith says "Because I believe it, I will see it!"

We all love the big jumps forward, the suddenly answered prayers, the mega-boost that comes all at once, but how often does that actually happen? Even walking in faith over a long period of time, we sometimes look back and say "Wow, God was in it the whole time". But that time, while we are going through it, seems like an eternity.
Most of the time our answer, our harvest, our answers come built on a foundation of one small step after another. Instead of that one giant leap, it may be 100 small steps that get us to the answer we were seeking. While that may be frustrating at times, it also builds the character to sustain the blessing once it comes. If we receive it before we are "ready", then many times it slips away because of the lack of foundation to maintain it.
Even a small step forward is a step in the right direction. Every move we make towards our goal is a building block for receiving our reward. Every small seed sown is still a part of the bigger harvest.
Zachariah 4:10 (AMP) - "Who (with reason) despises he day of small things (beginnings)?..."

Some people will be disappointed when they see how you succeed. They had their vision, their thoughts, their ideas about what you are owed and what you should receive. They do not know the work you have done, the seeds you have planted, the harvest that you have sown for.
I read a sign last week that said "your haters are never doing more than you are doing". Most of their words come out of jealousy. Do not let their sentiments make you feel guilty or in any way ashamed of what you have accomplished. Their words do not diminish in any way the efforts you have put into what you have now. They have no idea of the hard times, the struggles, the sacrifices, the times you did without, so it is ok that they also will not reap in the benefits of what you have become.
They are not the ones that set the plan for your life before you were even in your mother'w womb. They did not have the right or ability to determine your number of days. They had no inclusion in creating you for who you are to become, which means they also have no right or ability to label who you will become.

It is what is on the inside of us that decides how our day will go. No one or no circumstance can steel our peace unless we allow it. The enemy only has as much authority in our lives as we give him.
When we begin the day with the right heart, the right attitude and a spirit of gratefulness then we are set up to have a good day. During each day there will be opportunities to change that attitude, to change our position, but that is a choice we get to make. If we start the day with the right foundation, it makes it easier to maintain it no matte what comes our direction.
I am choosing to have a great day today. How about you?
