What a joy to celebrate with our community! 🍂🧡

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, decorated a trunk, donated candy, helped behind the scenes, or brought your family to our Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat! Each of you helped make it special!!

At Heights, we’re grateful for the opportunity to create a safe, fun, and welcoming place for families to make memories and experience the love of Jesus. We love this community and are so thankful to be part of it!

“Jesus is changing my life, and I don’t want to keep that to myself.”

Today, we celebrate Gabriel Henríquez, who was baptized by Pastor Osvaldo at Heights en Español, publicly declaring his faith in Jesus!

Gabriel grew up hearing about God, but his testimony shares how he came to understand that knowing about Jesus is different from walking with Him. Through the people God placed in his life, he began drawing closer to Him…and now desires for his decisions, words, and the way he treats others to reflect what God is doing in his heart.

In Gabriel’s words: “This is my new beginning, my decision to follow Him, and my way of declaring before everyone that my life belongs to Jesus.”

Church family, join us in celebrating Gabriel and praying for him as he continues to grow in his walk with Christ! 🙌

Today, we’re celebrating Kathleen and her two years of faithful service at Heights Baptist Church!

As our Children’s Ministry Associate, Kathleen plays such an important role in helping create a welcoming, loving environment where our little ones can learn, grow, and experience the love of Jesus.

Behind every thriving children’s ministry are people who pour their hearts into the next generation, and we are so thankful Kathleen is one of them!

Kathleen, thank you for the time, love, and dedication you invest in our children and families. Your service makes a difference, and we are so blessed to have you as part of our Heights family!

Right now, it’s just an empty chair.

But come Sunday, someone might sit here carrying a burden nobody knows about.

Someone might hear the Gospel for the very first time.

Someone might find the courage to pray again.

Someone might realize they aren’t alone.

It’s never been about filling seats.

It’s about making room for people to encounter Jesus. 💙

🎃 Have you ever heard the Pumpkin Parable? 🍂

Just like a pumpkin, God doesn’t leave us the way He finds us. ❤️

🎃 He reaches in and cleans out the mess.
🎃 He gives us a new beginning.
🎃 And He fills us with His light so we can shine for others!

What a beautiful reminder that when we give our lives to Jesus, He transforms us from the inside out! ✨

✨MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT: SUNDAY EDITION! ✨

We may have missed our Thursday Ministry Spotlight, but we couldn’t let another week go by without celebrating this incredible lady!

💙 Meet Tracy Loy! 💙

If you’ve had the privilege of being part of our Women’s Ministry, chances are you’ve experienced firsthand the love, wisdom, and joy Tracy pours into the women around her!

Tracy has such a beautiful heart for teaching others about Jesus. She doesn’t just study Scripture…she digs deep into the history, context, and truth of God’s Word, helping other women grow in their understanding and relationship with Him.

But what makes Tracy truly special isn’t just her knowledge of the Bible. It’s her genuine love for the women she serves. She leads with compassion, teaches with passion, and makes the women around her feel seen, valued, and encouraged in their walk with Christ!

Tracy, thank you for the countless hours, prayers, and love you pour into our Women’s Ministry. We are so blessed to have you as part of our Heights family!

Our Fall Festival is right around the corner, and we need YOUR help making it extra sweet!

We’re collecting bags of individually wrapped candy to help fill little buckets, bring BIG smiles, and make this year’s Fall Festival a night to remember!
Every little bit helps us love on the families in our community💙

🍬 How can you help?
Pick up an extra bag(or two) and drop them off in any of our designated donation bins around the church!

Let’s make sure the only thing we’re running out of this fall is room in our candy buckets! 🎃
