Martha Road Baptist Church

Martha Road Baptist Church At Martha Road Baptist we believe God has created us to intentionally connect people to Jesus Christ, His Word, His Church, and His Mission.

Martha Road Baptist is a Southern Baptist Congregation (SBC). The Church has recently moved into new facilities on the Martha Y to better accommodate the growing population of Altus and Blair. Martha Road is unique in that we are composed of a very young congregation. You will notice that there are many children in the church family as well. Martha Road considers our young families as a great bles

sing and we strive to provide ministries that benefit and equip the family. As our guest you are invited to join any of the existing programs that you feel would benefit you and or your family. Remember you are always welcome at Martha Road! You will notice when you are our guest that we are a casual attire church, that means "come as your are." We try not to get caught up with what people wear but focus on the heart of the person. To contact the church office, please email [email protected] and you will receive a prompt response.

Come join us on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at 7:00 PM for Freedom Fest — a fun evening filled with family, food, games, fellowship, and fireworks!

This is a night for the whole family to relax, laugh, and enjoy time together as we celebrate freedom and the blessings God has given us. We’ll have plenty of activities for all ages, including bounce houses, a gaga pit, 3-legged races, an egg toss, kickball, a bike parade, a walk-on chalk contest, a homemade ice cream contest, and lots of other fun games throughout the night.

The church will be providing hot dogs and drinks, and we’d love for you to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Whether you stay for the food, the games, the fellowship, or just to spend time with friends and family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

As the evening comes to a close, we’ll gather together for a fireworks show at dark — the perfect way to end a great night together.

Invite your friends, bring your family, and come celebrate with us at Freedom Fest! We can’t wait to see you there!

What a beautiful Mother’s Day we had this past Sunday!
We are so thankful for every family that came to worship with us and celebrate the amazing mothers and women in our lives.

Our Baby Dedications were especially meaningful as families committed to raising their children in the Lord, and our church family committed to praying for and supporting them along the way. What a special moment together!

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Fellowship is more than eating together.
It’s about doing life together.

Real fellowship isn’t just an event you attend—it’s a commitment you live. Walking together, praying together, encouraging one another, and growing in Christ together.
