🏗️

In 1986, we broke ground on a new church addition—laying the foundation for generations to come.

Because of moments like this, we continue to grow, gather and worship together today.

Just a reminder that our June Sunday school for young and old and everyone in-between begins this Sunday. We'll meet at 9:45 for some fun songs, a short interactive lesson and a game. We'll also have coffee, juice and donut holes to snack on. We hope you'll check it out.

This week we begin the countdown to the church's 150th Anniversary celebration on July 12th. We're starting a new sermon series "150 Years of Faithfulness: Yesterday, Today, and Forever." On Sunday, we focus on remembering God's faithfulness over the years. Our scripture focus is Joshua 4:1-9, when God stops the flow of the Jordan River so the Israelites can finally enter into the promised land. God instructs them to take 12 stones from the riverbed to create a memorial. It was meant to be a reminder to later generations of God's faithfulness to them. We would love to see you Sunday, as we want to remember God's faithfulness to Centennial UMC over the last century and a half.
We'll have our intergenerational Sunday school from 9:45 - 10:15. This is one class for all ages. Then after worship we have our Dinner Day potluck. We would love to see you on Sunday!

We all have a desire to belong, to be accepted and to be loved. So often we can feel let down in our relationships. This Sunday, we'll consider what it means to be a child of God, who claims us as a beloved son or daughter - a God who loves us "no matter what." We'll look at some verses from Romans 8:12-17 and 1 John 3:1 to unpack what it means to be part of God's family. We would love to see you on Sunday at 10:30 for worship and fellowship. If you'll be away or have a scheduling conflict, you can catch us on Facebook (CentennialUMCatIvy). Click the link below for the online bulletin.
See you Sunday!
Pastor Joyce
