Greater Life Church family and friends. There will be neither on-site services nor live-streaming of a Sunday Morning Worship Service tomorrow morning.

Some of you may know, but most of you don’t know that Pastor Wilson has been in the hospital for the last few days.

Prior to visiting the ER this past Thursday, Pastor was attempting to power through three days of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, a lack of appetite and diarrhea.

The Alton Memorial medical staff has run a battery of tests and appears to have concluded what the problem ISN’T, initially diagnosed as a, “small bowel obstruction.”

However, whatever the problem is, or was, seems to be in the process of running its course, and staff is telling the pastor and the First Lady that pastor should be released in another day or two.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, and please continue to pray for Greater Life Church, and its pastor and First Lady.

Due to an overabundance of caution, with regard to weather-related safety conditions on, and around the church building, Greater Life Church will not be holding on-site service this evening.

We will however be conducting a livestream broadcast beginning at our normal 7:30pm CST start time via https://www.facebook.com/GreaterLifeChurchAltonIL/ We’re asking our handful of members to tune into the broadcast and worship with us.

We hope to see you this coming Sunday morning at 10am CST when we reopen the doors for Sunday Morning Worship Service.

No Wednesday Mid Week Bible study this evening at GLC. Just learned our primary A/V person is sick. The First Lady, who is GLC's secondary A/V person, is racing a wedding alterations deadline with no sleep over the last 36 hours. And pastor doesn't have a clue as to how to run the A/V and music equipment.

Hook or crook, we will return to broadcasting Sunday Morning Worship Service this coming Sunday morning at 10am CST. Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and your prayers.
