A fantastic weekend welcoming the Very Rev. Dr. Jason Bray to our parish! We had a special dinner with him Saturday night with members of the staff and Vestry. Sunday was a joint service with Fr Bray preaching and Fr Garron celebrating the Mass at St Paul's. Fr Bray then gave an excellent presentation during coffee hour on Llandaff Cathedral and the Church in Wales.

We are so very thankful to have such special guests visit our Parish!

Joins us this Sunday for our very special guest! The Very Rev. Dr. Jason Bray, Dean of Llandaff Cathedral in Wales, will be preaching at the Episcopal Parish of Alton on June 7th. He will join us for one service at 10:30am at St Paul's. Dean Bray will give a presentation during coffee hour at St Paul's about Llandaff Cathedral and the Church in Wales. Please mark your calendars and plan to be in attendance. We want to give Dean Bray a very warm Alton welcome!
A little more about Dean Bray:
Jason is originally from Merthyr Tydfil, and he has served his entire ordained ministry in the Church in Wales since his ordination in 1997 by Bishop Rowan Williams.
With a doctorate in Theology and a passionate interest in Biblical scholarship, medieval and reformation history, Jason is a published author, teacher of the faith, and an experienced church leader. The publication of his book, Deliverance: Everyday Investigations into the Supernatural, about his life and experiences as an Anglican deliverance minister has meant that he is well-known in circles outside the Church in Wales. You can purchase the book on our online shop here.
Jason was previously Vicar of St Giles’ Wrexham, which is part of the Major Churches Network and is Wales’ largest medieval parish church, where he strengthened and grew the congregation at St Giles’, developing its civic, media and national links as well as its life of prayer and service whilst working to increase visitor numbers significantly.
He is married to Laura. They have two grown up sons, Thomas and Benedict, and two cats.

This past weekend at the Episcopal Parish of Alton was filled with so many people and a whole lot of joy! We welcomed many guests during the Pup Crawl who came to learn about our pet pantry, take some photos with their pets, and enjoy some tasty treats!

Then on Sunday we welcomed Ignite Youth Choir for an absolutely amazing performance that nearly packed the Church!

Many blessings continue to occur at the EPA!
