God is the creator and ruler of the universe. God is one, yet has existed eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is active in the world today and longs to have a relatio
nship with all people. Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and is both fully God and fully human. After living a perfect, sinless human life, He offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of humanity by dying on a cross. After three days, Jesus physically rose from the dead in order to demonstrate and declare victory over the power of sin and death. He ascended to heaven where He is our advocate and mediator before God. One day Jesus will return to fulfill the eternal plan of God. Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make everyone aware of their personal need for a relationship with God. The Holy Spirit also dwells in every Christian from the moment of salvation. When people yield to the Holy Spirit, they receive power and guidance for living, ministry, and spiritual growth. The Bible
The Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word. It is the ultimate source of knowledge about God and the definitive guidebook for daily living. Humanity
People are created in the image of God. God longs to live in fellowship with everyone, but because of humanity’s sinful disobedience that relationship has been lost. The consequences of sin are judgment and eternal separation from God. But God, through grace, has provided the way, in Jesus Christ, for that relationship to be restored. Salvation
Salvation is a free gift from God offered to all humanity. We can never earn our way back into God’s presence through self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from the consequence of sin.
