One of the reminders from the Penn York District Conference this week was that we are living through an epidemic of loneliness.

Many people are more connected digitally than ever before, yet they feel isolated, unseen, and alone.
That's where the church has a unique role to play.

The early church devoted themselves to fellowship, shared meals, prayer, and caring for one another (Acts 2:42-47). God designed us to live in community, not isolation.

Never underestimate the power of a conversation, a phone call, an invitation to lunch, a visit, or simply sitting with someone who needs a friend. These simple acts can be powerful expressions of Christ's love.

Today, ask God to show you someone who may need encouragement. You may be the answer to a prayer you never heard.

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2

Mike and I are at the Penn York District Conference this week. We've experienced wonderful times of equipping, prayer, encouragement, and fellowship with pastors and church leaders from across our district.

One highlight was witnessing James Snyder from our neighboring church be ordained. It was a powerful reminder that God is still calling people into ministry and raising up leaders for His Church.
We should be encouraged!

God is at work. Churches are reaching people. Lives are being changed. Leaders are being equipped. The Kingdom continues to move forward.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9

Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep trusting. God is not finished yet.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

This weekend we celebrated Orwell Old Home Days and reflected on 75 years of community traditions. While much has changed over those years, one thing has remained constant: God's faithfulness. Families come and go, children grow up, seasons change, and communities face challenges, but our Lord remains steadfast.
As we look back, we can see His hand at work in ways both large and small. He has provided, protected, comforted, and guided generation after generation. The same God who was faithful to our grandparents is faithful to us today. Whatever this week holds, you can move forward with confidence knowing that the God who carried you yesterday will carry you tomorrow.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your unchanging faithfulness. Help me remember Your goodness in the past and trust You for the future. Amen.

What a great day at Orwell Old Home Days!

Our youth fundraiser for Follow Youth Convention was a wonderful success. Through their very first fundraiser, our teens raised $240 toward attending Follow Youth Convention.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, purchased treats, donated, or helped bake. Your support is an investment in the next generation and helps create opportunities for our teens to grow in their faith, build friendships, and encounter God in meaningful ways.

We are grateful for such a caring community. Thank you for helping our teens take this next step on their journey!

Just a reminder Saturday at Orwell Old Homes Days our teens will have a bake sale to raise money for the youth convention. We will be set up before the parade and there till sold out. 🍪 😋

🎶 One Church. Many Generations. One Savior. ✝️

One of the things we love most about Pine Meadows Wesleyan Church is seeing generations worshiping side by side. From children to grandparents, every voice matters in the Kingdom of God.

Last Sunday, our worship team was a beautiful picture of what the Church is meant to be a family of faith united in lifting up the name of Jesus. Different ages. Different stories. Different experiences. Yet all worshiping the same faithful God together.

In a world that often separates generations, we believe there is something powerful about young and old serving, singing, learning, and growing together. The next generation isn't just the future of the Church they are part of the Church right now.

"One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts." Psalm 145:4

We are grateful for every person who shares their gifts to lead others into worship. ❤️

"Though you have not seen him, you love him... and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy." 1 Peter 1:8

Your current situation is not your final destination. Pain has a way of convincing us that things will never change, but God reminds us there is a greater story being written. Even when we cannot see what He is doing, we can trust His heart.
Joy isn't pretending everything is fine. Joy is knowing Jesus is with us and that He is leading us toward something better.

Prayer: Jesus, help me trust You when I cannot see the whole picture. Fill me with Your joy today. Amen.
