Today we celebrated the retirement of our long time parish secretary, Kathy Schlimpert.

Kathy’s service to Trinity Lutheran Church started in 1976 when she was asked to “temporarily” fill in the soon-to-be vacant church secretary job. She saw many changes through the years from the mimeograph (with ink blotters), typewriters, word processors, a copy machine, and finally to a computer and color copier! Including vacancies, she served 8 pastors each with their own unique way of doing things.

Earlier this year, Kathy decided it was finally time to retire from her “temporary” job.

Thank you, Kathy, for your dedication to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Well done good & faithful servant!
