We’ll be having our Senior Luncheon today at 11am. We will have singing, devotion, pizza, dessert, drinks, bingo and prizes. We hope you’ll come and enjoy a day of fellowship and fun.

Come out this Sunday for our Easter Celebration Services. We will have Songs and devotion will be at 8am in the Church Sanctuary. After that we will all go for breakfast across the road at the Family Life Center. We will be serving Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, Eggs, Pancakes, and Fruit and Drinks. Sunday School will begin at 9:45, Easter Worship Service will begin at 10:45.

Crossroads Ministries Church of God of Prophecy located at 914 9th street, Altavista, will host a Men and Women's event this Thursday, March 12th at 6 PM. A spaghetti dinner with drinks and dessert will be served. Guest speaker will be Rev. Gene Gilette and his wife Carolyn will be singing.

Our Wednesday night service will be canceled due to icy roads and low temperatures. We hope to see you Sunday.

We’re definitely must be teaching our kiddos the right way. Yesterday when we thought we broke down at the doctor’s office when it finally fired up after about an hour later, our five year old ZMan started praising Jesus. He kept saying Thank you Jesus you heard our prayer and you got our van started.

Then he said, come on everyone let’s all praise Jesus. I looked over at my wife and tears had filled her eyes. Ya see, a year ago ZMan didn’t know anything about Jesus. Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings is perfect praise. Jesus said to forbid them not to come unto me. He also said for such is the kingdom of heaven ♥️
