A message from Pastor Jamie:
This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series, Rooted: A Study of Colossians. In a world that can leave us feeling pulled in a hundred different directions, Colossians calls us back to the place where true stability is found: Jesus. As we begin in Colossians 1:1–14, we’ll see how the gospel takes root in our lives, produces fruit, and reshapes the way we live.

This Sunday will also be a special combined service with Altamonte Chapel. Come early and join us under the pavilion beginning at 10:00 AM for donuts and coffee, then worship with us as we begin this new journey together. We hope you’ll join us as we seek to become a people who are not simply planted in a place, but deeply rooted in Christ.

And don’t forget to check out all the resources to help us move from rootless to rooted, as we seek to practice Scripture meditation together.

A message from Pastor Jamie:

Every tree tells a story about what’s happening beneath the surface. The deeper and healthier the roots, the better equipped the tree is to withstand drought, weather the storms, and bear fruit in its season. In Psalm 1, Scripture gives us a picture of a life like that—a tree planted by streams of water, nourished by something deeper than what can be seen.

This Sunday, as we continue Threshold: Moving from Rootless to Rooted, we’ll introduce our spiritual practice for the year: meditating on Scripture—a practice that can put down deep roots in our lives. What happens when we move beyond simply reading God’s Word and learn to slow down, dwell on it, delight in it, and allow it to shape us from the inside out? Join us as we consider what it means to become people who are deeply rooted in God’s Word and able to bear fruit in every season.

This Sunday, we begin Threshold, a two-week vision series for CrossPointe. As we step into a new season together, we’ll pause to consider where we’ve been, where God may be leading us, and what it means to faithfully step across the threshold into what’s next. We’ll begin with Jeremiah 17:5–8, a passage that invites us to consider what—and who—we are placing our trust in.

And this Sunday is also our Fall Kickoff!

After worship, stick around for a Group Connect to help you find a community group or Bible study, a churchwide potluck, and new CrossPointe T-shirts to give away. Come worship, connect, eat, and celebrate the beginning of a new season together!

Addressing anger, insults, and reconciliation, Jesus shows that flourishing in His kingdom involves more than avoiding sinful actions—it requires pursuing restored relationships and a transformed heart. Join us as we consider the seriousness of sin, the beauty of reconciliation, and the grace Christ offers to shape us into people of peace.

In these challenging and hope-filled words, Jesus confronts shallow outward religion and points us toward the deeper righteousness of the kingdom—a righteousness ultimately found in Him and worked out through transformed hearts.
