A message from Pastor Jamie:
As we continue our Flourishing Life series through the Sermon on the Mount, this week we encounter Jesus’ challenging words in Matthew 5:31–37. Addressing both marriage and truthfulness, Jesus calls His followers to a deeper integrity that reflects the character of God—faithfulness in our commitments and honesty in our speech. In a world where promises are often broken and words easily manipulated, Jesus invites us into a life of wholehearted devotion, where our “yes” is truly yes and our relationships are marked by covenant faithfulness. Join us as we explore what it means to flourish through lives of integrity and trustworthiness.

A message from Pastor Jamie: As we continue our Flourishing Life series through the Sermon on the Mount, this week we come to Matthew 5:21–26, where Jesus presses beyond outward obedience to expose the deeper realities of the heart. Addressing anger, insults, and reconciliation, Jesus shows that flourishing in His kingdom involves more than avoiding sinful actions—it requires pursuing restored relationships and a transformed heart. Join us as we consider the seriousness of sin, the beauty of reconciliation, and the grace Christ offers to shape us into people of peace.

In these challenging and hope-filled words, Jesus confronts shallow outward religion and points us toward the deeper righteousness of the kingdom—a righteousness ultimately found in Him and worked out through transformed hearts. Join us as we consider how the gospel reshapes our understanding of obedience, holiness, and true flourishing.

Join us this Sunday, April 19 as we look at Matthew 5:3-5.

Together, we will discover how Jesus invites us into a different kind of life—a life rooted in the Kingdom of God.

Beginning this Sunday, April 12, join us for an 18-week journey through Matthew 5–7 as we explore the most famous sermon ever preached. Together, we will discover how Jesus invites us into a different kind of life—a life rooted in the Kingdom of God.

It was also a great joy to worship with so many of you on Good Friday and Easter. I look forward to continuing the celebration this Sunday!
