A message from Pastor Jamie: As we continue our Flourishing Life series through the Sermon on the Mount, this week we come to Matthew 5:21–26, where Jesus presses beyond outward obedience to expose the deeper realities of the heart. Addressing anger, insults, and reconciliation, Jesus shows that flourishing in His kingdom involves more than avoiding sinful actions—it requires pursuing restored relationships and a transformed heart. Join us as we consider the seriousness of sin, the beauty of reconciliation, and the grace Christ offers to shape us into people of peace.

Lastly, here are a few other things coming up at CrossPointe…

Summer Foam Party - Join us on Wednesday, June 10th from 6:30–8:30 PM at the church for a Summer Kick-Off Party featuring a foam truck, yard games, and a delicious picnic-style dinner. Bring your towels and your appetite — it's going to be a blast for the whole family!

Summer Cohorts - Are you looking to connect with others and grow in your relationship with Jesus this summer? Summer Cohorts are a great option.

Bolivia Mission Trip - The trip team is set, but you can still participate by helping to fund the mission. Click the link to donate to the Bolivia Mission Trip (October 16-22).

Grace & Peace,
Jamie

A message from Pastor Jamie:
As we continue our Flourishing Life series through the Sermon on the Mount, this week we come to Matthew 5:17–20, where Jesus declares that He did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets, but to fulfill them. In these challenging and hope-filled words, Jesus confronts shallow outward religion and points us toward the deeper righteousness of the kingdom—a righteousness ultimately found in Him and worked out through transformed hearts. Join us as we consider how the gospel reshapes our understanding of obedience, holiness, and true flourishing.

From Pastor Jamie:
As we continue our Flourishing Life series through the Sermon on the Mount, this week we turn to Jesus’ call in Matthew 5:13–16 to be salt and light in the world. In a culture that often drifts toward darkness and decay, Jesus reminds His followers that they are meant to stand out—not for their own glory, but so that others might see the goodness of God. Join us as we consider what it looks like to live lives that faithfully reflect the character and hope of Christ.

A message from Pastor Jamie:
As we continue our Flourishing Life series through the Sermon on the Mount, this week we lean into Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:6–8—a call to hunger and thirst for righteousness, to live with mercy, and to pursue a pure heart. In a world that often leaves us restless and divided, Jesus invites us into a deeper kind of flourishing—one shaped not by outward success, but by inward transformation. Come ready to be challenged, encouraged, and reminded that true satisfaction is found in Him.

Lastly, here are a few other things coming up at CrossPointe…

What if the good life is not found where we usually look for it?

What if blessing is not found in power, comfort, success, wealth, or self-promotion—but in humility, mercy, purity, peace, generosity, and trust in God?

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus paints a surprising picture of what it means to flourish. His vision is beautiful, compelling, and often completely upside down from the values of our world.

Join us this Sunday, April 19 as we look at Matthew 5:3-5.

Together, we will discover how Jesus invites us into a different kind of life—a life rooted in the Kingdom of God.
Grace and Peace.
