‼️It is finished‼️
Over the past two weeks, I had the honor and privilege of my life to plan and execute the final homegoing celebrations of my spiritual father, Apostle, Dr. Preston Rolle Sr. There are too many people who helped me with the services for me to mention them all by name. However, I feel it necessary to mention these honorable people.
To the Rolle family, thank you for allowing me from day one to plan and execute a service that we all know was fitting for the king that Bishop was.
I’d also like to thank the staff at AdventHealth and Altamonte Springs for their patience, care and accommodations on that dreadful day. I cannot express enough gratitude to Hayes Brothers Funeral Home and Maurice Hayes for the amount of dignity and class that they provided for Apostle.
Special thanks to Pastor Keith Hicks and Orlando West ministries for opening their doors to us, being hospitable, and making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you to the executive board of the Apostolic Church of Jesus, who came alongside me and gave me much liberty to execute this service on behalf of our Chief Apostle.
I want to say thank you to The Restored Church for their acts of service and commitment to the Rolle family in their hours of bereavement. Thank you to Ashley Major and Ash M. Photography for the amount of excellence displayed all weekend long, making sure that we have a virtual memory, including video and pictures of this grand celebration.
To every bishop, every apostle, every pastor, every ministry gift who prayed for this family and showed up to support this family, and to all the program participants: thank you. To the presiding bishop of the Apostolic Church of Jesus, Bishop Jimmy Hicks Sr., and his assistant Bishop Bishop S. Sampson Hunt: thank you especially to you two for your services all weekend long. Special acknowledgment to Elder Deanna Callands for her official notices (flyers) that were shared hundreds of times. Thanks to Pastor Darius Washington and Minister Dexter Dion Phillips for supervising the choir and band. Thanks to all the choir members and C LaJuan Eason Adams for wearing us out.
To Edward Tucker from Everglades Tributes: the program was absolutely phenomenal. To Cozy Priester Bell and Margaret Priester Dyson and those who helped with hospitality in the repass: everything was delicious. Thank you to everyone who brought food and served the family, and to The Emerge Church of Palatka for supporting their pastor. To Apostle Alex L Jenkins Sr. what an amazing message on Friday night. Thanks for all of your support and help! To Pastor Godfrey Dickson Jr. you helped sanctify us in the eyes of the people and you definitely did not serve to be seen but rather, every time we saw you, you were serving.
Lastly, to everyone who traveled far and near to celebrate this general, on behalf of the entire Rolle family, we thank you!
PS: I went to check on the Chief today and he is resting well!
