Altamont Summer Soccer Camp is back!

Whether your child is just learning the game or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp is a great opportunity to develop fundamentals, build confidence, stay active, and have fun with fellow Indian soccer players!

📅 Camp Dates: July 20, 21 & 22
📍 Location: Altamont High School Soccer Field (behind the school)

⚽ K–1st Grade: 9:00–10:00 AM
⚽ 2nd–4th Grade: 10:15–11:15 AM
⚽ 5th–8th Grade: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM

💲 Cost
• K–1st Grade: $40
• 2nd–4th Grade: $40
• 5th–8th Grade: $60

👕 Register by July 3rd to guarantee a camp t-shirt!

Congratulations to former Tribe captain Hayden Summers on his acceptance into the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Hayden played with the Tribe 2018-20, serving as our captain in 2020, and went on to play 4 seasons with the varsity Altamont Indians from 2021-24. He was a captain of the Indians team in 2024.

The Christmas season is when we reflect on the past and look forward to what is to come. 2025 was another successful year for the Tribe, and 2026 will present new challenges. Thanks for spending part of your year with us.

Preston Kroening is the 2025 Most Valuable Player. Preston's 33 goals led the team, as did his 8 assists. His size and speed led to a remarkable 33-goal season, which is the second most in a season in Tribe history. In terms of career goals, though, Preston stands alone at the top of the list -- in mid-season he broke the previous all-time record of 44 goals and just kept going, finishing with a career total of 64 goals.

Jacey Sears is the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year. The heart of a lion beats within this girl, and we're so thankful that this warrior has been on our side of the field these past two years.

Griffin Kroening's 10 goals were second-most on the team, and his 5 assists were third-most. Those 15 "scoring events" placed him second on the team. His work as a midfielder stretched the opponents' defense, and he forced the defenders to not just focus on one player. For all of those reasons, Griffin is this year's Offensive Player of the Year.

Max Sain did something extraordinary this season -- he moved from his natural position of holding midfielder back to become a center defensive back. In addition to being one of our captains this season, as Center Back, Max was in charge of a defense that allowed only 26 goals in 16 games. He was a part-time player last year, but in 2025, Max was our Most Improved Player Award winner.

Henry Grasher is this year's Newcomer of the Year Award winner. An 8th grader in his first season with the U14 Tribe, Henry also was our Iron Man, playing more minutes than anybody else on the team. It took the coach a few games to find Henry's position, but once he settled in at right defensive back, he became a stalwart of the defense.
