Christ’s Kids were each blessed with an anonymous donation of $15 per kid to spend on items for the Haiti Shoebox Ministry! They have been shopping for their Haitian friends for weeks now and, wow! God is so good! Stay after service this Sunday and help us pack all the shoeboxes up to be shipped off to Haiti! Last year we packed/shipped 60 shoeboxes!

Last Sunday we learned about God’s protection. It doesn’t mean that nothing bad will ever happen to us - it just means that God is bigger and more powerful than all of our fears and worries. Then we experimented with bubbles and protected them from popping!

Last Sunday we learned that JESUS IS LOVING! The Bible is full of stories that show how Jesus is loving, we discussed the story of how he lovingly cured a crippled woman who was bent over for 18 years! The kids experienced some of what it might be like to be bent over like that and how amazing the relief was for her after Jesus showed her love!

Last Sunday we learned about compassion. There are ten 3 ounce cups under the cookie sheet respresenting how a group of friends can show compassion and hold each other up in difficult circumstances. The weight of all those bibles represent all the difficulties we face.

Today we learned that Jesus is bold, so we should be bold!
We discussed situations when being bold is the right thing to do, though it’s not always easy. Then we demonstrated boldness with a game. It took boldness to leave the pool noodle behind knowing it could fall. Being bold means taking risks.
How will you be bold this week? Stand up for a friend - make the honest choice even when your peers are not - invite a friend to church?!
