Our prayer is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. AWANA is a bible club for k-6.

Our mission is to come along side parents and help them raise children that know, love and serve Jesus Christ. We have weekly theme night that ties to a bible lesson. We help children memorize bible verses using AWANAs grade specific handbooks. We wrap up the night with a fun game time that ties back to the theme of the night.

You may need some time to think about this theme and time to get it together. On October 6,2026 we will have Crazy socks Night. I saw lots of ideas and instructions on Pinterest. Be as creative as you would like, enjoy being creative with your child. We can’t wait to see it on October 6, 2026!

How to make a Paper Boat
Here's your classic paper boat — super easy, only takes about 2 minutes once you get the hang of it. You just need one sheet of A4 or Letter paper.
What you need: 1 rectangular sheet (printer paper works best)
The process:
Step 1: First fold
Fold the paper in half lengthwise to make a center crease, then unfold. Then fold it in half widthwise with the folded edge at the top.
Step 2: Make the triangle
Fold the top two corners down to the center line so they meet in the middle. You'll get a house-like shape.

Step 3: Fold the bottom flaps
You have two loose strips at the bottom. Fold the front flap up over the triangle, then flip it and fold the back flap up too. Tuck the little corners around the edges if you want it neater.

Step 4: Open into a diamond
Gently open the triangle from the bottom and flatten it into a diamond / square shape.

Step 5: Fold up the bottom point
With the open side down, fold the bottom point of the diamond up to meet the top point on both sides. Now you have a smaller triangle.

Step 6: Open again and shape the boat
Open that triangle into a diamond again (like step 4). Hold the two top points and slowly pull them apart. The middle will pop up. Flatten a bit, pull the top open, and shape the hull.
Step 7: Finished!

Tip: Use crisp creases and slightly thicker paper if you actually want to float it — and you can add a tiny piece of tape inside the bottom to make it water-resistant for a few minutes
