Dear Ward Members,
We are so excited to be with you at Bennion Creek! For those of you looking for a 3-day experience, you can arrive as early as Thursday, June 15 at 1:00pm and leave as late as Saturday, June 17 at 11:00am.
There are great campsites with trees for hammocks and plenty of space for tents and RV trailers (no hook-ups available). All food is provided, but you may want to bring snacks for in between meals.
Please note the following:
no animals/pets are allowed at Bennion Creek
temperatures could be as low as 40 in the evenings, so plan accordingly
do not park on the lawn
bring camp chairs for your campsite
For those of you that can only join us on Friday, the most important day of the camp, please note that Bennion Creek is only 61 miles from Alpine. This should take just over an hour to get there. Activities are between 9am-9pm, including a fireside with Jerry and Kristine Jensen.
There is a link to google maps and written directions below, but you may also use google maps and just put in "Bennion Creek Campground," it will direct you there easily. Look for the orange "Joy to the Ward" signs at turn-off from Hwy 6 and slight turn 4 miles down the improved dirt road.

Written directions to Bennion Creek Campground:
1. Take the Price/Manti exit from I-15 at Spanish Fork.

3. At about mile marker 202 on Highway 6 you will pass a rest area on the left side of the highway. Continue past this rest area 1.7 miles, and you will see a sign SKYLINE DRIVE (first right) and STARVATION ROAD (second right.)
4. Pass SKYLINE DRIVE and turn right onto STARVATION ROAD, (Joy to the Ward Sign also).
5. Proceed 4.5 miles on gravel road to the fork in the road.

We hope you will make every effort to spend any amount of time with us this weekend!
With love,
