Alpine church of Christ

Alpine church of Christ The church of Christ is located on the corner of 2nd & Sul Ross Ave. We are a Bible based New Testament church, centered on worshiping God.

The goal of the Alpine church of Christ is to glorify God in everything we do. We want to glorify Him in our worship, in our families, in our work, and in our personal lives. If you come to Alpine you will find a family of God's people who love one another. We cherish every moment that God provides us to worship and work with one another. The church of Christ in Alpine believes that the Bible is t

he inspired, inerrant, perfect Word of God. We believe that God's Word contains everything we need to live this life in a way that is pleasing to God. We believe that it teaches us how to become a Christian, how to live as a Christian, how to worship God in ways that please Him, and how to grow in our earthly relationships and service to one another.

It’s the Lord’s day!

Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Read your Bible with fresh eyes.
Our challenge, when we study is to look for ourselves at the scriptures for what they say, not for what we’ve been told they say.

Harry Smith interviewed Apollo 13's astronaut Jim Lovell on the Today Show this morning and asked him, "If you could do it all over again, would you?" He answered, "Yes, in a heartbeat!" He's obviously a courageous man, but I thought to myself, yeah...since you already know that you made it home safely!

And then that made me think...it's a lot easier to be brave when you know the end result. And I KNOW that GOD WINS. There may be some duct-tape air filter scary moments in between, but I know, no matter what life throws at me, that I get to go home in the end.
