The table is set for everyone.
All nations. All tribes. All peoples and tongues.

And the confession is one: “Jesus is Lord.”

World Communion Sunday is an act of "proleptic imagination"—a glimpse of the future, when what has not yet fully transpired is pulled into the present, right here and right now.

“Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

We celebrated this day with members from different cultures and backgrounds, worshiping together and breaking bread around one table. In doing so, we caught a glimpse of the kingdom that is coming.

Two great opportunities to connect with your JCBC family this November!

November 7 | 8am | JCBC Men’s Prayer Breakfast

Calling all guys! Join us for a morning of prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. It’s always a special time to strengthen friendships, build new connections, and grow together in faith. And let’s not forget—the pancakes and bacon are pretty great, too!

November 14 | 10:am | Women’s Ministry “Festival of Tables” Fall Brunch

Ladies, this one’s for you! Join us for a beautiful morning of food, fellowship, and friendship as we continue our theme for the year, “This Is My Story, This Is My Song.”

We’re especially excited to welcome Jill Jenkins as our guest speaker! Jill is no stranger to the JCBC family, having faithfully served as our Children’s Pastor for 20 years (1995–2015). We look forward to hearing from her!
