To the parent who got everyone dressed, packed the diaper bag, found the missing shoe, handled the meltdown in the car, and walked into church already exhausted... We see you. β€οΈ
And if your child spent more time climbing under the pew than listening to the sermon, needed three bathroom trips, cried during worship, or babbled through the entire message, you're not failing as a parent.
Your child is still learning how to sit still, listen quietly, regulate their emotions, be around new people, and even worship. And so are you!
So give yourself some grace, too. Keep teaching and correcting them, modeling what a faithful servant looks like, and bringing them to church. Your kids aren't a problem we're trying to solve or a distraction that's in the way of service.
Thereβs room for your whole family here. Especially on the hard days. π
