Services every Sunday at 10:45am at our new facility @ 6455 Shiloh Road. Radiant Church was started in 1985 as Bridgeway Church by two seminary students who were exploring the need for a church in the growing suburbs of Alpharetta. A small group of twenty people started meeting and a church was planted. The church began growing, hired a lead pastor, and continued growing over the next couple decad
es. After many great years, the church began to decline, and in 2017 began a process of reevaluating what would best position the church to reach the next generation of people in the area. After considering different ways to move forward, we felt and new and novel approach was not the answer, but instead a return to the basics of the faith: a focus on personal relationships, the Word of God, and helping those in need. In Spring of 2020 the church decided a new name was necessary to distinguish its new vision from the past. We chose Radiant Church because we are called to be lights in the world, and also to remember our history as a replant. Psalm 34:5 says, “Those who look to him will be radiant, their faces will never be ashamed.” Jesus takes away our shame, and we want others to know that, and we want that hope to radiate to the ends of the earth. We are now essentially a new church plant with a new vision. We have experienced a new beginning with Jesus, and we want to help others see how they too can experience hope and healing in him.
