Our community needs us right now🤍

This week has been incredibly difficult for our neighbors.

Families in Phillipsburg have been displaced due to the recent sinkholes, and families in Easton have lost their home and belongings in a devastating fire.

We are heartbroken for those affected and we are also grateful to see our community stepping up to help.

Below are verified ways you can support:
• Donation drives for the Easton fire victims
• Collection sites for Phillipsburg families displaced by the sinkholes
• Most-needed items and drop-off locations are listed in the attached photos

We are deeply grateful for our city officials and first responders who have worked tirelessly this week. Their leadership, courage, and quick action have brought safety and stability during an incredibly difficult time. We also ask for continued prayers for the Wilson firefighter who was seriously injured in the line of duty. May they experience healing and full recovery, and may their family feel surrounded by support and strength.

Our story continues with You.

For more than a century, our congregation has gathered in faith, to worship, to pray, to remember Christ’s love, and to serve one another and our community.

While buildings have changed over the years, the heart of the church has remained the same. Generation after generation, God’s people have been rooted in faith, gathered at the Lord’s table, and called to live out Christ’s love together.

As we close our January reflection on Our Story in Alpha, we give thanks for the faithful men and women who came before us and look ahead with hope for what God continues to do, with you as part of this church family.
