Prayers for our precious Varnadore family during this time.
The below passage was written by Cathy Godwin.
So many wonderful memories of Sis Audrey have flooded my mind for days.
She and Rev Robert E pastored New Hope for 8 years. I say they because she was the glue that held his ministry together. She brought back Easter & Christmas contadas. Our fall festival is now “Hallelujah Night” and they loved it.
She served the Lord since a very early age and shared her testimony with everyone.
She was so talented!! She played piano, organ and sang. REV said she made him sound good.
She shared her love of music and taught piano for many years.
She was the epitome of a southern lady exuding grace and charm.
She and I shared a love of shoes. And her pocketbook collection, oh my. The cutest bags ever.
She loved to cook and would cook anything REV brought home: wild turkey, deer, fish, and she taught me how to fry quail and make the best grits with cream cheese.
She loved with her whole heart and her Lord came first, but oh how she loved REV, her children, grand and great grand children.
She followed REV wherever the Lord led them and they had many stories to tell about their early years.
It always amazed me how such a southern lady wound up with a country boy!!
I can only imagine the homecoming when she saw her Savior face to face and it warms my heart to know she is back with REV, Angie and family.
We will be praying for her family and friends.
