Good morning Cubbies parents! Last night we learned that even if we have bad news, we should always tell the truth. The Bible story we talked about came from Daniel chapter 5. When the king was doing something he should not have, a hand literally appeared out of thin air, and God gave the king a message. Daniel translated this message and was rewarded for his obedience/telling the truth even though the message God sent was bad news.

I am so happy to be back in class with all the amazing Cubbies! This month we are talking about love. Our Bible Verse is: Love one another (John 13:34).
We learned that love is patient and kind tonight. We are making candles to show how God’s love permeates everything around us, just as the scent from the candle fills the space.
Cheyenne and I are excited to teach them about love and hope they show it to everyone around them!

Wow! All I can say is that we have had so much fun the past few weeks talking about the birth of Jesus!

Week 1 - The Angel visits Mary and Joseph
Week 2 - Jesus is born and the Shepherds come to visit him..but it doesn't stop there..they went and told everyone about him.
Week 3- The wise men followed the star to where Jesus was. They worshipped him and gave him gifts.

Next week will be our WOW Christmas party with our special guest Santa! Hope to see everyone there!

We talked about Moses last Wednesday night. We talked about how God chose Moses lead his people out of Egypt and how He chose to give the Ten Commandments to Moses. We took a quick trip outside to visit the Giant Granite tablets.

Tonight we had a lot of fun learning about Hatshepsut, or Happy for short. We learned how she, the Pharaoh’s daughter, was CHOSEN to save Moses. We made some cool Egyptian necklaces and rescued a baby from the water. I sure hope you child learned how God can choose some interesting people to fulfill His promises!
