Pastor Molihan Message Summary: When hurt comes, Peter encourages believers to respond differently than the world. Instead of fear, anger, or revenge, we are called to keep doing what is right, trust God, and honor Christ in our hearts. Even when we suffer for doing good, God can use our pain for His purpose. Our response should be marked by gentleness, respect, and a clear conscience, allowing our lives to be a testimony to others

Key Thought: Don’t let hurt make you bitter—let God use it to make you better.

Pastor Anthony Message Title : Put the Devil to a Scootin’
Message Summary: James 4:7 is a call to spiritual surrender and spiritual strength. Before we can resist the enemy, we must first submit our lives fully to God. Too many people want victory without surrender, but true freedom comes when we place God in control. James reminds us that the devil is real, but he is not greater than God. When believers stand firm in obedience, prayer, and faith, the enemy loses his grip and must flee. Victory doesn’t come from our own power it comes from living under God’s authority.

The enemy will always try to shift your focus.
In the Garden, Adam and Eve had an entire paradise filled with provision, peace, and purpose… yet Satan convinced them to focus on the one thing they didn’t have.

And he still works the same way today. He wants you focused on what’s missing instead of what God has already blessed you with. Focused on the closed door instead of the doors God already opened. Focused on the struggle instead of the Savior.

But God already knows what you need. His timing is perfect. His provision is faithful. His grace is enough.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7

This Sunday at First Church of God Alliance we’re choosing faith over fear, gratitude over frustration, and God’s truth over the enemy’s lies.
