God of heaven and earth, before the foundation of the universe and the beginning of time you are the triune God: Author of creation, eternal Word of salvation, life-giving Spirit of wisdom. Guide us to all truth by your Spirit, that we may proclaim all that Christ has revealed and rejoice in the glory he shares with us. Glory and praise to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever.

🙏🙏🙏🙏

We are asking for prayers for four of our favorite people who are currently in rehab, as well as several others in sober living. While we want to celebrate their achievements, we also want to lift them in prayer. Addiction is a difficult journey, and it takes a lot to say, “Yes, I am ready.” We want each of them to succeed, and we know that prayer will assist in their recovery.

Continue to pray for those struggling with addiction and wanting to give up. It is hard!

The CIR family and God love each of these individuals, no matter their situation. We will love them through the good, the bad, and the ugly, and we will celebrate their successes.

You are cordially invited to attend a joint Service of Healing scheduled for Sunday, May 31st, at 11:00 am, at Israel's Lutheran Church in Paris, OH. A luncheon will follow the service. Please note that there will be no service at Abiding Savior on this day. Regular worship services will resume at both churches on Sunday, June 7th.
