TONIGHT: You’re invited to join us as we continue a new kind of Synod-wide conversation.

Join us Thursday, September 3 at 7:00 pm, as we host our next Synod-wide Update on Zoom—an open gathering for anyone in the Northeastern Ohio Synod who wants a clearer picture of where we are and where we’re headed.

This is the fourth in a series of regular updates following each Synod Council meeting. This gathering is open to all and includes time for moderated Q&A.
Our hope is simple: a more informed, engaged synod—so that when we gather, we do so with shared understanding and stronger collaboration.

New Resource Alert!!!

The Promises of Baptism: A Resource for Coloring and Reflection is an opportunity to reflect on God’s promises, our promises, and how we live them every day. Baptism is a gift from God. God welcomes us, names us children, and promises new life, salvation, and so much more! Baptism is how we join Christian community, and how we know we belong and we can count on God no matter what.

Deacon Erin Taylor Bodenstab, Deacon for Baptized Living in your Northeastern Ohio Synod says, "I hope you enjoy exploring these pages as much as I enjoyed making them!"

O God, we thank you for your Son, who chose the path of suffering for the sake of the world. Humble us by his example, point us to the path of obedience, and give us strength to follow your commands, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
