Father Jon was ordained into the Holy Order of the Priesthood on January 19, 2022 at Trinity by the Right Reverend Bishop Mark Hollingsworth, Jr, and serves as Rector at Trinity. Father Jon is available for pastoral visits, spiritual guidance & counselling, social visits and discussion about faith, God, Scripture and prayer! Stephen the Martyr Episcopal Church in East Liverpool, Ohio and presides at Holy Eucharist on Saturdays at 4:00 pm. The life is Trinity Episcopal Church is rich in tradition in the city of Alliance. The current church building at 1200 South Union Avenue was built in 1950 and is designed after a small village church in the English countryside. A prayer Labyrinth sits in the church courtyard and welcomes the public to individual and private prayer anytime of the day and night. Also on the church grounds is a family playground with several picnic tables that is open to the Alliance community. Maneuverability cones are set up in the Trinity parking lot for all potential drivers to practice while they prepare for the State of Ohio BMV license and permit exams. Many opportunities for individual, group and family involvement are available at Trinity, including choir, Bible Study, vestry, outreach ministries, social activities, Summer Youth Camp, Altar Guild, grounds crew and many other seasonal events. Baptized members are invited to contribute to the liturgical life of the parish as lay preachers, lay Eucharistic visitors, acolytes, ministers of the cup, lectors, greeters, worship leaders and oblationers. (ECUSA) which is the American branch of the worldwide Anglican Communion and the Church of England. Today it is under the jurisdiction of the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, the Most Rev. Michael Curry. The Right Rev. Anne B. Jolly is the current Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio. The seat of the diocese is in Cleveland at Trinity Cathedral.
