It was Magnificent Monday again today when our ladies gathered to make 137 sandwich packets to feed the homeless people of Alliance. We also gave 23 liquid body soaps, 10 small tubes of toothpaste and 10 toothbrushes to go along, 26 travel size deodorants, 20 individual bags of potato chips, 36 rolls of toilet paper, an 8 pound bag of Cara Cara oranges, and 88 bottles of water! What a great feeling for us to give these things! And special thanks to Diana, Barb, Carol , Sue and Jane who gave time to make all of this possible. Job well done Ladies!!

This Sunday will be Easter Sunday! Why not join us for breakfast from 8:30-9:30AM? And then join us for spirited worship led by Rev. Ken Hutchinson. There will be singing of hymns, music from handbells, and organ and piano music to the Glory of God and the choir singing!!
The fragrance of the Easter flowers is overwhelming and almost divine! We are located at 208 E. Oxford St. in Alliance. Come and make your day one of a kind! Happy Easter!

It was “Magnificent Monday” again this week when our church made up 137 sandwich packets of meat/tuna for the homeless mission in Alliance Clothed in Righteousness. We also gave 4 cases of bottled water. Thank you to those donating these things and to those ladies who did the making of the packets. Our church is proud to do this to help others.

Yesterday was another awesome day for us to donate to “Clothed In Righteousness” homeless mission in Alliance. Our giving congregation made them 130 sandwich packets of meat/tuna, a whopping 123 cans of soup and 80 bottles of water!!! We are so proud to be able to do this once a month! Thanks to everyone who supports this effort and blessings to “Clothed In Righteousness” for their hard work helping our homeless people.

This week was the second Monday of the month
And it was the day we create sandwich packets for Clothed In Righteousness. It was an awesome day again as we were able to make up 158 packets through donations from our members. Also we gave them a big case of water, 24 rolls of toilet paper, 3 bags of tangerines, 5 bunches of bananas and 15 travel size deodorants. It gives us great joy to be able to do this and we know we are giving help where it is needed. Thank you to Cindy, Barb, Diana, Sue and Alice for your help in making this possible. And it goes without saying that the people who work at Clothed In Righteousness are very special people to give homeless people such great care and concern.

It’s Christmas Eve and what better place to truly celebrate Christmas than in the sanctuary of church. We will begin our service of Lessons and Carols at 7pm. We invite everyone to join us for the most beautiful service of the church year. There will be singing of the familiar carols we all know and love and hear the reading of Scriptures, telling the Christmas story. You are invited to join us at 208 E. Oxford St. Alliance. It is a night to remember and the sanctuary is decorated beautifully. Please join us at 7pm.

Today is the second Monday of the month and it is the day we make sandwich packets for the Clothed in Righteousness Mission who feeds homeless people in our city. Thank you to Cindy, Bryce, Barb, Carolyn, Diana, Sue and Jane for your help in this project. They made up 157 sandwich packets of either tuna or chicken, also donated were 21 pounds of apples, 21 granola bars, 3 cases of water and the most needed item of toilet paper, we gave 120 rolls of toilet paper! Fantastic!!! This church is the most generous group of people. And it is certainly a joy to deliver these things to them because the mission is so appreciative!! Thank you First-Immanuel for your big heart!

Next Monday we will again be making sandwich packets to help Homeless people in our city through Clothed in Righteousness. Our city is blessed that we have this organization to support the less fortunate. We hope to have another amazing day for the mission!

It is with great sadness that I tell of the passing of our long time member Carol Gobeli. Carol passed away Friday November 21st at the age of 91. She was a person who always had a smile on her face and enjoyed her church family. She was a resident of Copeland Oaks and enjoyed life there. Services will be held this Friday November 28th, 2025 at Cassaday Turkle Christian funeral home at 12 noon. Our deepest sympathies go out to her family.
