This Sunday, September 6, is both our last Sunday worshiping outside (weather permitting) and our Butterfly Release! We hope to see you at 9:30AM!
Next, We are looking for volunteer drivers to support out transportation program with Share Care. Training for volunteer drivers will be Thursday September 10 or Saturday September 19. Both sessions will be held at 10 am in our library.
COMMUNITY AND YOUTH Day will be Saturday, September 12, 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM. Food trucks will be here 11 AM—3PM. Vince’s Cheesesteaks, Taco Town Catering and Kona Ice. Also at this time, make a bird feeder made from an apple, sunflower butter and birdseed. Bob Swaim will be here with his unique cycles, including a seven-seater cycle. Take photos with your family on the bike with your phone! He will also do a presentation from 12PM-1PM. Plus Kate Landry-Johnston, will conduct a quick chat about making the world a better place.
Sunday September 13 will begin our Fall Schedule with services at 8AM and 10:30AM in the Sanctuary. We will also begin our Sunday School from 9:15AM to 10:15 AM for children and adults. That night we will also have our KOINONIA FAMILY KICK-OFF from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Pavilion (weather permitting.) In case of rain, meet in the Social Hall. We’ll enjoy supper, games, ideas, worship. All youth in grades 7 to 12 are encouraged to attend with their families. Siblings are welcome. Bring your favorite ice cream sundae topping. It takes all of us to build a community. Schedules and registration paperwork are available from Ruth Ann McCay. All confirmands and parents are encouraged to attend.
