Our Art Gallery hallway is filled with color, movement, and hope through Crosses to Bear, a collection of paintings by Ron De Long.

Inspired by Jesus’ call to “take up the cross daily,” Ron’s work invites us to see the cross not only as a symbol of suffering, but also as the place where justice, mercy, and unconditional love meet. Through these paintings, the ancient symbol becomes a joyful expression of resilience and a path through adversity toward healing and hope.

Join us for an artist reception on Wednesday, September 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The exhibit will remain on view through October 23. All are welcome!

Rain may have moved our picnic inside, but Homecoming is still on! 🎉

Join us tomorrow, Sunday, September 13, for ONE united worship service at 10:00 a.m., followed by our churchwide picnic in Fellowship Hall. Come celebrate the home we share at First Presbyterian Church of Allentown with great food, fun, and fellowship!

Our churchwide Homecoming Picnic is this Sunday, September 13, and we need a few helping hands to make the day possible!

Volunteer opportunities:
• Set-up crew: 8:30-10:00 a.m.
• Grillers: 10:30-11:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• Clean-up crew: Beginning at noon

Let us know where you can help! And don’t forget to invite your friends and neighbors to join us for worship, food, fellowship, and fun. Everyone is welcome!
