The 2026 Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod Assembly, "Imagine," came to a close today.

Together, we installed deans and Synod Council members, heard reports from ministry leaders and companion synods, explored new ministry opportunities through 6261 and Fresh Expressions, gathered for Festival Eucharist, and gave thanks for the many ways God is at work across our synod.

With gratitude to the Holy Spirit's guidance, we celebrate the election of Bishop-Elect Jennifer Dee and look forward to the ministry that lies ahead.

Thank you to everyone who participated in, volunteered for, prayed for, and supported this Assembly.

As a reminder, the Lutheran Center will be closed on Monday and Tuesday and will reopen on Wednesday June 10 from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Join us live at 1:30 PM for the final plenary session of the 2026 Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod Assembly.

The afternoon will include a nominee question-and-answer period, the fifth ballot for bishop, companion synod reports, and a presentation from Global Refuge Faith Alliance.

After days of prayer, discernment, conversation, and voting, we trust the Holy Spirit's guidance as voting members continue the important work of discerning who God is calling to serve as the next bishop of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod.
