This is my favorite verse in the Bible. It goes along with the saying that "you're never too far gone to turn back to Christ".
At times we can feel like we've become so distant from God and that we no longer deserve His love.
We fall into temptations and ignore God's will for our lives. However, this mindset that God doesn't want
us or love us anymore is wrong. He showed how much He loved us when He sacrificed His son, and His arms
are open to receive us. We can always come back to Christ for forgiveness as long as we truly repent.

This passage was in reference to the armour of God which is mentioned in Ephesians 6.
God calls us to put on the full armour of God so that we can take our stand against
the devil's schemes. We need to be prepared so that when we feel tempted to sin, we
can keep ourselves accountable with His instruction. We need to be wise and pray
to the Holy Spirit for all the Lord's people. With the armour of God, we can be
strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

John 15:5

How is our relationship with God right now? Sometimes it can feel that our lives are
too busy to really get in God's word. Our relationship with God gets put below our other concerns.
We can easily forget that we're supposed to be strengthening our connection with Christ. We should
be wanting to pursue our relationship with Christ because we can't do life without His guidance.
We should be helping with God's kingdom and helping people to know about Him. But how can we
tell others about Christ when we, ourselves, haven't spoken to him in so long. We should set apart a time
without distractions so that we can focus on Christ's words and learn how to live by His commandments.

It can be quite easy to take the wonderful things we get in life for granted.
We can get into this mindset and forget that these are actually blessings from God.
We should take time in prayer to praise God for all that we receive from Him.
Even in the hard times, we can praise God for His everlasting grace.

Happy Holidays! We hope everyone is spending much-needed time with family and friends as we welcome in the new year.

We are excited to announce a late Christmas present for you all: the launch of our very own website! We have been planning this for quite some time and are privileged and blessed to finally have a place to call home on the internet. While the website is still fresh right now, we look forward to filling it with content this upcoming year and hope it will be a resource of hope for those who visit.
