Yesterday, on Flag Day, our parish was honored to host the “What Is the Meaning Behind the 13 Folds of the U.S. Flag” ceremony, presented by the Knights of Columbus Patriotic Degree.

The event is part of activities supporting our nation's upcoming 250th Anniversary, as well as the mission of the Patriotic Degree of the Knights of Columbus to foster patriotism and responsible citizenship.

Led by a team of energetic college-age missionaries, Totus Tuus helps young people grow in their faith while having an incredible week with friends old and new.

For students entering grades 6–10, Totus Tuus also fulfills the retreat requirement for the 2026–2027 Formation Year.

Following all Sunday Masses on June 14, the Knights of Columbus will present the “What Is the Meaning Behind the 13 Folds of the U.S. Flag?” ceremony at both Resurrection and St. Lawrence.

This special presentation is offered in recognition of our nation's upcoming 250th anniversary and highlights the patriotic mission of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree.

We invite all parishioners to stay after Mass to experience this meaningful reflection on the symbolism and traditions of our American flag.

The Knights of Columbus will be conducting the “What is the Meaning Behind the 13 Folds of the U.S. Flag” ceremony at the end of the Sunday, June 14th masses in Resurrection and St. Lawrence.

This is an activity in support of our nation’s 250th anniversary and of the Patriotic Degree of the Knights of Columbus.

We were blessed to celebrate these outstanding young adults at our Graduation Mass this past weekend. As they begin their next chapter, we pray that God will guide them, strengthen their faith and bless them in all they do.

Calling all graduates!

2026 graduates, of all ages, are invited to celebrate at the Graduation Mass at Resurrection Parish on Sunday, June 7th, at 8:30 am.

Please wear your cap and gown and gather in the main entrance of the church by 8:20 am.

Join us Sunday after 10:30am Mass at St. Peter's to support our Steubenville Youth! 🥞 🥓

This July, 14 of our Disciple Maker Youth will be traveling to Steubenville Conferences in Springfield, MO for an incredible weekend of faith, worship, fellowship, and encounter with Christ, and we would love your support in helping make this trip possible!

Join us on Saturday, May 31st at St. Peter Church Hall after 10:30am Mass for a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser. A free will offering will be accepted, with all proceeds helping our youth attend this life-changing conference.

Thank you for supporting our young people and investing in their faith journey. We hope to see you there!

On Memorial Day, we pause to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country, and to honor the sacrifice that makes our freedom possible.

We also remember the many members of the Knights of Columbus who have served with courage and faith, answering the call to defend both God and country. Their legacy lives on in those who continue to serve, protect, and lead with integrity.

We pray for the souls of the fallen, for the comfort of their families, and for peace in our world. May their courage and selfless love never be forgotten.
