St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church

St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church Building upon our catholic tradition and diversity, we are committed to the spiritual and physical well-being of all. Over 70 years ago the community of St.

Our sacramental life challenges us to a life-long catholic formation and Christian service. Frances Cabrini Parish was established to meet the needs of the suburban community of Allen Park, Michigan. Over the years the parish has developed a charism for Catholic Schools along with Religious Education. The current Cabrini community continues the traditional charism as well as reaching out to those

in need of the community. Our patroness, St. Frances Cabrini, told us that she found her strength in the belief that nothing is impossible with God. Our founding pastor, The Reverend Clare Murphy, reminded us that the soul of Catholic education is the education of the soul. Our patroness and founding pastor continue to offer the kinds of challenge that will keep us connected to our mission.

On September 11, we come together not only to remember, but to pray.🙏

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we invite everyone throughout our Quo Vadis Domine Family of Parishes—and our entire community—to join us. You do not need to be a parishioner or a member of one of our churches. All are welcome.

Friday, September 11

Mass — 8:30am
Adoration — 9:00am–6:00pm
Angelus & Rosary — 12:00pm
Mass — 6:00pm

May we gather as one family of faith, lifting our prayers for those whose lives were forever changed that day and asking God to make us instruments of His peace.

As we head into Labor Day weekend, the words of Saint Francis de Sales offer a beautiful reminder for each of us: do not allow the worries and demands of life to steal the peace God has placed within your heart.

Our days can become filled with work, responsibilities, uncertainty, and things beyond our control. Yet even when life feels unsettled, we can remain anchored in the One who never changes. God is with us in the busy moments, the difficult moments, and the quiet moments of rest.

This Labor Day weekend, may we give ourselves permission to slow down, reconnect with those we love, and place our worries into God’s hands. May we remember that true peace does not come from having everything perfectly in place—it comes from knowing that God is with us through it all.

Take His peace with you into this holiday weekend. Share it with your family. Extend it to your neighbor. Carry it into the week ahead.

May God bless our community with a safe, restful, and peace-filled Labor Day weekend. 🙏
