Our Hungarian Reformed Church Youth Camp, held at the beautiful Laurelville Retreat Center in the scenic Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania, was a wonderful week filled with faith, friendship, fun, and unforgettable memories. We are grateful to God for blessing us with our largest camp attendance since the COVID pandemic and the biggest junior attendance (children under the age of 12) in decades. It was truly a joyful celebration of God's faithfulness and the continued growth of our Youth Ministry.

This year, we were blessed to welcome children from six congregations, bringing together young people from across the USA to worship, learn, and build lasting friendships. Throughout the week, campers participated in engaging Bible lessons, worship, crafts, games, sports, and team-building activities that encouraged them to grow in their faith while enjoying time together. Every day, campers had access to the swimming pool, miniature golf course, and gymnasium, providing countless opportunities for recreation, fellowship, and fun.

In addition to our daily activities, campers enjoyed several memorable field trips. They challenged themselves on a ropes course, explored God's amazing creation during a visit to the zoo, and continued one of our camp's most cherished traditions with a visit to the Concordia Bethlen Home in Ligonier. Sharing songs, smiles, and conversations with the residents was a meaningful experience that blessed both the campers and those they visited.
It was inspiring to see so many children eager to learn about God's love, encourage one another, and grow together in Christ. The laughter, prayers, worship, and shared experiences throughout the week reminded us of the importance of investing in the next generation and strengthening the bonds within our Hungarian Reformed church family.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Pastors, Counselors, Volunteers, and the Parents, and Everyone who served behind the scenes. Your dedication, generosity, and love created a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment where every child could thrive.
We praise God for this record-breaking year and pray that the seeds planted in the hearts of our campers will continue to grow for years to come. We are already looking forward to gathering again next summer for another unforgettable Hungarian Reformed Church Youth Camp!

Today we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy and remember those who have served and sacrificed to protect them.
As we celebrate with family and friends, we also recognize this special year as the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. May we continue to seek God's wisdom, grace, and guidance for our nation.
