The church is doing some amazing things! ❤️❤️❤️

I spent the last few days in Asheville, NC as part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America‘s Curious Christian Children Cohort with fellow children ministries leaders from across the country dedicated to engaging ALL children in worship. It was incredible to hear the work and imagination going into to each context as we learned and shared together.

I am excited that House of Prayer Lutheran Church was selected to be part of this and cannot wait to see what develops over the next few months throughout each context in the cohort!

What a wonderful way to be church together, at today’s SWPA Lutheran Synod Congregation Council Training!

The Traveling Sensory Station made its debut - it was great to engage so many of our leaders with the little things we can do to help make church more accessible and comfortable for all. calmstrips stickers were especially popular with this group!

I also had the opportunity to present with my colleague, Pr. Kerri Clark on “Our Call to Inclusion” for our synod’s Authentic Diversity & Justice Working Group. It was wonderful to see so many leaders wanting to learn and continue taking steps for their churches to be spaces of welcome and belonging!
