We serve approximately 125 families each month in the
Aliceville area through the West Alabama Food Bank. If you or your church would like to join us, we would love to have you. Monetary donations are always appreciated. And please pray for our ministry, our volunteers and our recipients.

Did you know that food insecurity rates in our service area (Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa counties) range from 15% to 31%? That’s significantly higher than the national average of 12.7%.

This means far too many families in our community are struggling to put food on the table.

At the West Alabama Food Bank, we’re working hard to change that, but we can’t do it alone. Your support can make a difference in the lives of your neighbors.

Hello church family. We are planning to host a Christmas party for the children at the Park Cameron center. Date is tentatively set for Tuesday Dec 16th around 3:30-4:00pm. We will serve pizza and cookies. We will share the Christmas story and give gift bags to each child. If you have anything you would like to add to the gift bags, please let me know. Last year we gave snacks, gatorade and a $25 Dollar tree gift card. I think we did close to 50 bags.

Please pray for our ministry and join us if you are able. We will be taking donations to help cover the costs. Money can be placed in the offering or given to Virginia Latham (earmarked for Park Cameron).
